  1. I have struggled with flickering LL120 fans almost a year now and have had at least 3 or 4 tickets to Corsair about this problem. I have almost swapped all the parts without any solution. My problem starts when the temperature increase inside the chassi during game play or benchmark testing. Finally I think I have fixed the problem. Corsair sent me a new version of the Lightning Node Pro (Lighting Node Core). The RGB Hub are integrated in the node and now it’s just one unit that controls all the fans and RGB’s. With this new unit it was much more easy to isolate the problem since it occurs more frequently. It is almost for sure one of the 6 fans that are faulty and that fan has never changed colors before with the old Lighting Node Pro unit. It was fan number 6 in the chain of 6 that where broken but fan number 3 where also flickering together with number 6. When I changed places of the two flickering fans it was only number 3 that changed colors so I have now sent that one back to Corsair. The quality of the fans seems to be pretty bad and I have had one fan replaced by Corsair before. This flickering also seems to appear just when the temperature get high enough and stops when the temperature decrease again. Edit: I have now replaced another fan that I thought was faulty but now two new fans start to behave weird. I have now replaced two fans out of six, one RGB Lighting Node and one fan hub but the problem is still there. New fans that have worked before are now flickering. I will never ever more buy any kind of RGB products from Corsair.
  2. Yes thats right. Or even the fan hub itself.
  3. I have exactly the same problem with flickering fans and random color cganges. I have struggled with this in almost a year now and have opend 3 different tickets at Corsair. I have had one of my 6 LL120 fans replaced as well as my fan hub. I have switched between different connectors and US:ports and so on but the problem is still there. I have a theory of what causes this problem. I belive it is a heat releated problem. I have an RTX 2080 Ti that produce a lot of heat when it runs at 100% in game play. The temperature of the GPU will be around 85 degrees Celsius then. The temperature inside my chassi will be around 50 degrees Celisus at this time. I have tried to lock the GPU at 100 FPS since my monitor cant handle anymore than that. The GPU will then just run at 62% and the heat will not be at the same level as when it runs at 100%. Then everythin works as normal and RGB:s are not flickering and changing any colors at all. When I unlock the FPS again and try to run FurMark at 3440X1440 att full GPU power the flickering will come back after an ammount of time when the temperature rise inside the chassi again. When I close the GPU benchmark program everything will went back to normal again after the air inside the chassi get cooler. I have also tride to take of the side plate of the chassi and it has also helped. I have explained this for Corsair several times but they will not listen at my theory at all.
  4. The flickering problem still occurs and I have been in contact with Corsair several times without any progress. I have always thought that this is some kind of heat related problem because often when my GPU goes from 60 degrees Celsius up to 70 degerees Celsius fan nuber one and sometimes fan number 2 starts to change colors and also starts to flicker. The temperature inside the chassi has never been higher than about 50 degrees Celsius. When I increase the fan speed or turn off the game that Im playing and when the temperature decrease everything went back to normal again. I have changed SATA power cable. I have tried different versions of drivers for ICUE. I have change position of the 6 different fans that I have. I have tried to change between port one and port two on the Lighting Node Pro. I have tried a new fan hub. I have tried to make a new Windows account without any unnessecary programs running. I have tried differnt USB-ports on my motherboard but nothing will make it better. This is so annoying and I have no idea what more to do.
  5. I had the same problem and it appeared suddenly from nowhere. I tried two different version of ICUE and both version created same problem with my LL120 fans Led´s when I played Digital Combat Simulation. My solution was to adjust the fan curves so that the temperature went down in the chassi. My GPU (RTX 2080Ti) went down from 75 degrees celcius down to 65 degrees cecius. I have now just played the same game for maybe 3 hours and the problem seems gone. I have also tried Unigine benchmark for at least 1 hour without any heat related problem.
  6. I have had almost the same problem and I thought that it was my Lightning Node that become hot. I tried to remove the side panel from the chassi and all the problem dissapeared. I then adjusted my fan curves and the problem was resolved. I use an RTX 2080Ti
  7. I belive I have found the problem. Not 100% sure yet but I Think its heat related. My Lightning Node Pro are located in the upper part of the chassi just above the GPU on the other side of the wall. The temperature of the GPU are about 75 degrees Celcius when I play games. I have taken off the side panel and now it seems to work. I also tried to swap between fan 1 and 6 but it was still the same fan that starts to flicker before the problem occured. Edit: I have now played DCS for some hours without any issues. I have changed my fan curves a bit and the temprature of the GPU are now at maximum 65 degrees celcius. It seems that Lightning Node Pro are a bit sensitive when it comes to higher temperatures but I dont know why it would’nt handle 75 degrees celcius without any problem.
  8. I have tried to find older version but I cant manage to find any. The only downloadable version I can find are the latest on Corsairs webpage. If you have a link I will be happy. Edit: Tried 3.13.94 with the same problem.
  9. I have now tried version 3.13.94 and its the same problem. I have now also noticed that this happen when I play Digital Combat Simulator. It seems to be something in the game that triggers this behaviour. I have never had this problem before.
  10. I will try to explain my problem even though my English not is the best. I have six LL120 RGB fans connected to an Lightning Node Pro. After the latest update fan nuber one has started to flicker randomly for some seconds and then some of the Led`s on the fan change colours. All the other five fans remain the same colour but all of the fans stop responding some of the inputs in ICUE. If I try to disconnect the fans under lightning setup they wont respond at all. All Led´s on all of the fans will still be on. I can change lightning effects but fan number one will still have some Led´s in different colours. I have tried to uninstall and install the software without any progress. Is it possible to download an older version of ICUE somwhere?
