  1. So I am going to be building my son a new rig, pretty much the same specs as mine. I am going to be using a Corsair 7000D air flow case. I will be using 9 AF 120 Elite Fans, 4 front, 4 on the side, and 1 in the back. As everyone knows who has this case, it comes with a fan hub that you can connect 6 fans too. I will be getting a Rog Strix Z790-E Mobo, I do not want to connect any of the fans to the mobo, I do not use Asus AC for anything other then syncing Icue rgb on his, ram, gpu, and mobo,k/m,aio,etc. So what I was wondering is, if I get a Corsair commander pro. Can I connect the 6 fan hub from the case to the commander pro and the 3 other fans to the commander pro also. Will this work, will it cause issues? I am thinking this will be fine, but just want to make sure it will work? Thanks in advance.
  2. Question, what does this do???? Got this after I updated to new Icue??
  3. Have you tried adding it to the game list in asus AC, I was having the same issue for a while until I figured this out. When you do this, have ICUE running, move it to the top and then restart your rig. The right button, game list.
  4. ThroughTheTrees I am having the same issue's since the icue update and swicthing to the new Ilink QX fans and Aio??? My fans ramp up no matter what curve I use, even if my rig is at idle they just start to ramp up for a few seconds and then go back to normal. Also on my Ilink 420mm aio, my number 2 fan which is on the aio, spins at a higher rpm then all, a total of 12 QX fans. Another issue is the lcd screen for the aio too, it always shows that my cpu package temp is 15 to 20 degrees c higher then what my asus mobo say, so if my q-code on my mobo will say 32 at idle, the corsair aio shows 45C at idle??? I cant figure this stuff out, with my old corsair aio really never had temp issues, did have to rma a few of them because of the pump going out, but temps were always ok and fans too? I all ready opened a ticket, still waiting to hear back from them?
  5. Is it me or the New LINK LCD screen missing the Brightness setting??? I know that my old, H170i Elite LCD XT AIO, had the option to adjust the the screen brightness, seprate from the Fan brightness. I know if you go into the the HUB AIO, device settings, you can adjust the brightness setings, but it combines it for all the fans and the lcd screen??? I like to run all my RGB at 33% and the LCD screen at 100%, which I was able to with my old AIO?? I have added 2 pics of the AIO screen, one at 33% and the other at 100% Also as you can see at 33% or100%, the brightness of the outer ring around the lcd screen really does not make it brighter or llighter?? The reason I ask is because that 33% you can barely see the screen. Thanks in advance.
  6. So I was planing to buy 3 Icue Link 120mm 3 packs. I have a Corsair 7000D case, with a total of 9 AF120mm fans at the moment, 4 front, 4 side and 1 as exhaust. Plus I have a H170i elite cap xt aio. So was doing some research on this, if you want to install just 3 front and side fans in this case, you will have no issues. The issues start when you want to do 4 front and 4 side, there is no room for the cable to plug into the fans. You will need to spend a extra $40.00, to get 3 of the 90 degree slim angled cables. The one as exhaust might not be a issue if you are also going to install the icue link AIO, that fan can just plug into the aio from what I can tell. I MO Corsair needs to provide the 90 degree cable with the 3 pack of fans they are selling? I was about to go to my local Microcenter and get these fans, good think I checked my set up. Even then, I do not know or think that the 90 degree angled cable will help, its a bit of a thight fit as you can see in the pic's of my case. Just trying to help people out that use full tower case's like I do, you might have issues with your build.
  7. So I have been thinking about getting these fans and aio. I have a Corsair 7000D airflow case. I want to install a total of 12 fans, 4 in the front, 4 on the side, 1 in the back as an exhaust, and the fans that come with the Icue link aio, by the way it will be the 420mm AIO. Would I be fine with just doing this with the cables that will be coming with the hardware, or will I need to buy extra cables? Also how many hubs will I will be using, since I will have a total of 3 hubs from the fans and 1 more from the aio? Just trying to avoid mistakes and having to order extra cables, from what I see our on back order on the Corsair shop. Any advice will help. Thanks in advance.
  8. Hewy C, So I see you have the same mobo, how are youusing it with ICUE. For me its a process, first I have to start AC, cause that big window on start up is black? I have to deselect the new polymo lighting, exit AC, then start up Icue? Sometimes my 4090 will not sync up with Icue? Never had issues like this with my rof strix 690-f mobo. Anyways this kinds sucks, if you ask me. You guys should post somewhere on here that this 790 mobo is not compatable with Icue, just my 2 cents. Thanks.
  9. Hey C, So tried what you said, the omly profile that really works is the rainbow wave. I dont change color profiles much but just looks so odd, I am so use to seeing everything in sync. Like I said might just go get a new mobo, will try this for a couple of days. Do yoiu know if your icue dev team might be working on a solution for this, pretty sure asus will be bringing out more mobo's like this by the end of the yeasr with the new refresh of the Z790 mobo's? Thanks again
  10. Damm that sucks. well thanks for the feedback c-attack. Gonna have to get another mobo then, lol.
  11. Hey guys I need a bit of help here. I just upgraded my mobo to the Asus Rog Maximus-Z790-Hero. My build is pretty much all Corsair products, so I am using ICUE, for some reason my mobo will not sync up with the rest of the fans, gpu, aio?? It just stays a soild color, if I turn off Icue, then the mobo starts to change color. Is this mobo not supported by Icue??? Forgot to add that my gpu is also a Asus Tuff 4090 oc. Thats syncs up with no issues at all? Any advice or help please. Thanks in advance.
  12. Like the title says, is it safe to update? I wonder if uninstalling old version of ICUE and installing the new version would aviod issues instead of just installing over oldversion? Whats do you Pro's think?
  13. Dudes, I had to do 4 clean intalls till all my rgb, asus mobo and asus 4090 got back to normal!!!! I am glad they pulled it, imo it's ethier, a new Win update ot asus Armory crate. Or it could be Corsair, which I could see that, knowning how there FW's are.
  14. Dude all the advice I can give you is do a clean install and go back to Icue 4.33.138, I had to do 4 clean installs on my rig after I updated to ICUE 5, all my RGB was just blinking at random times. At 1 point my asus mobo and asus 4090, went dark, thought they were done. Finally after the 4th clean install everything went back to normal.
