  1. Thanks for the reply! A couple more questions: - How's controlling the DC fans with the CoPro? For the PWM fans I can either set curve, fixed percentage or fixed RPM. I suppose with the DC fans you can set curve and fixed percentage but not RPM? - Of those fans, what are your favourites in terms of noise/performance?
  2. Hi folks, I'm planning to replace some of my LL120s (3 white and 3 black) with different fans, but I'd like to still use the Commander Pro. I was going for the Silent Wings 3 PWM but I've read they are not exactly compatible with the CoPro. Is that still the case? How about the non PWM version? Alternatively I was considering the Noctua NF-F12 and the Noiseblocker Nb-eloop (both PWM). Does anybody have experience hooking them up to a CoPro?
  3. I've tried playing the game and set instant lighting to one color. Then I did the same with a different color. Everything seems to be working fine. The issue was appearing before with a lighting effect that I had imported from a different profile I had downloaded. I used that effect for weeks without any problems, so maybe the problem is cause by a recent iCue update or Windows update. I'll try to reproduce the effect myself, without loading it from a different profile and see what happens.
  4. Thanks for the reply. In my case it seems to happen only while gaming. I've been playing Frostpunk, so I'm not sure whether it happens in other games as well. I've never noticed it before. Also, it seems to happen only after a while, when the system gets quite hot. The problem with the led persists after I exit the game, but as soon as I open iCue and select the current profile again, everything goes back to normal. I'll try to turn of the SDK and see if it makes any difference. Edit: just for info, I've been using LL120 fans with a Commander Pro + Lighting Node for months without any issues and I haven't changed anything. So, it's definitely not a problem of set up or wrong configuration.
  5. I've been experiencing a very similar issue during the last few days. I have 6 LL120 fans, 3 white as exhaust at the top, and 3 black as intake at the side. While playing a game, with both CPU and GPU under load, one of the 3 white fans started exhibiting strange behaviour after a while. One part has the same colour and the effects are not the same as the other fans. This has happened a few times already and only with this fan. The strange behaviour goes away if I open iCue and re-select the current profile. I was thinking this might be a defective fan, but your message makes me think this might be a Windows issue, since I've recently updated too.
  6. No kids, but wife says I'm like one! :) Happy to get back into PC gaming after being on console for a long time. Thanks again!
  7. Yes! Sorry about that, I got confused. Last time I built a PC was in 2001... It's the Lighting Pro that needs the USB, not the LED fan hub. My initial problem was that H150i + LL120 RGB kit require 2 separate USB headers on Mobo because Lighting Pro (in the kit) needs one. With CoPro I don't need the Lighting Pro and I can connect the H150i USB directly to the CoPro. Thanks!
  8. Thanks! I'm using the stock fans, but I'm not doing push/pull with the RGB fans. I'll use the stock fans with the radiator for exhaust, and use the RGB fans for intake. I did. What I wasn't sure about is whether I could do AIO USB ---> CoPro Fan Hub USB ---> CoPro CoPro USB ---> Mobo USB header Now that I'm sure I can I'll go ahead and get the CoPro. Thanks!
  9. Hey Zotty, I'm planning to do something similar (to a much smaller scale!) with my build and I have a couple of questions. I'm connecting the H150i and 3 LL120 fans to an ASUS Crosshair Hero VII. - The Hero VII has 2 USB headers (similar to your mobo). I was thinking of connecting the AIO USB and the fan led hub USB to those headers, but I've read several people had problems with it. Are you using both USB headers? - Alternatively, I'm considering getting the Commander Pro. In that case: can I connect both the AIO USB and the fan hub USB to the CoPro, and just have one USB cable from the CoPro connected to the mobo? It looks like that's what you are doing in your build. - As for the H150i fans should I connect them to the cable coming out of the AIO pump head or to the CoPro? Thanks in advance!
