  1. 2 months later..... 'can't'.... won't, becuase the interface issue with V4/aida64 Corsair created...by design. Good Luck getting any meaningful response Luca, it's a shame but I don't believe Corsair really gives a damn about this issue as can be seen from the previous responses, or lack thereof.
  2. Also, I wouldn't recommend going in and turning off any of the settings regarding other software. Just do your thing with the out of the box settings and IF you find yourself with some problem for whatever reason then you can look and see if any of the settings happen to be messing with you. I never had to change any and I don't believe it ever gave me any problems.
  3. Well, I'm not sure then how or where the conflicts come from. I've been using a Sensor Panel and v.3 iCUE for almost a couple years now without any serious issue. Of course both pieces of software have their own little hiccups every now and then but they always pretty much straightened out relatively soon and nothing ever gave me any reason to think that any of it was because of the two conflicting. You shouldn't have any issues because with v3 I'm personally not aware of any and apparently in v.4 it appears Corsairs policy is not to play well with any other software, by design, you cannot even see it, so you should be aok.. Of course, they did this without leaving their customer base with anything comparable to use and when it's questioned the response is 'go pound sand, we don't care'. Corsair could have given us something similar if they wanted, if they cared. There are plenty of sensors in iCUE v.3 and v.4 but the way they are laid out and designed, it just isn't the same. It's relatively easy laying out a Sensor Panel with stock gauges and graphs. I am pretty sure all the Corsair DRAM data is still working in Aida64, they can fetch it direct from the MB and don't 'need' Corsairs cooperation for that. I only have RAM usage in my gauge, the temps never move more than a degree or two and the speed/timings never change but I'm guessing it's still all there. Designing your own isn't all that difficult either but pretty tedious and time consuming. If you have any questions I can try to answer them for you or if you want a couple Panel files as a foundation to start from I can give you a couple. Good Luck
  4. While I appreciate the response I'm at a loss here. It appears to me others are using iCUE v4.xx and Aida64 is reading the data, or at least they were as of Nov 6th, the newest post I could find with anything related to Aida64/iCUE v4.xx. I have used v3.xx for a long time without any issue. I don't understand the problem now and the vagueness regarding v4. I have already asked this question in the Aida64 help forum without a response, yet, which is disheartening in itself but in reality, why would this be an Aida64 problem that a new iCUE version breaks Aida64 seeing iCUE data? Seems this is an iCUE issue or policy. What about the rest of my question? What is this software integration toggle and its purpose? Is there an actual detailed users manual anywhere that can be had for iCUE users? I've been a long time fan of Corsair and have purchased many Corsair products but this is really starting to frustrate me now, seriously, to the point of selling off anything Corsair I have and ditching the ecosystem. Thanks
  5. I'm sorry if this has been addressed in one of these threads somewhere but after much searching I haven't stumbled onto it. I have seen a couple posts regarding Aida64/Sensor Panel issues with the new iCUE v4.xx software but they didn't really pertain to my issue. Simply put...I have used an Aida64 Sensor Panel with iCUE v3.xx for quite awhile now without issue. It read my water temp and fan speeds no problems. I 'upgraded' to the new iCUE v4.xx the other day and lost all data in Aida64. It's not even in the Aida64 sensors list anymore as an option. I was hoping someone from Corsair or the community could point me in some direction of a solution, I'm not sure what I'm missing to get it back. I do see in the new iCUE there is some setting regarding integrating software but toggling it does nothing and I'm not sure how else to use it. Haven't seen any new settings in Aida64 regarding iCUE v4.xx either. Also, is there a detailed user manual for the new iCUE sftwr anywhere? Thanks in advance.....
  6. I've been following this thread for quite awhile now, maybe a few weeks or a month after it was started a little over a year ago. I came across it a couple weeks after building my current PC. At that moment in time the only things 'permanently' connected to USB was iCUE(AIO), Corsair K95 KB(iCUE), Logitech G502 mouse(G-HUB) and I was baffled why I was getting a USB connection sounds every time the PC booted and sometimes seemingly disconnect sounds quickly followed by connection sounds. I read the posts about the NZXT hub 'fixing' the problem. I quickly ordered one and a few days later it was installed, but it didn't change anything. Soon after I began connecting all my peripherals which consists of a Commander Pro(now Commander Core), Stream Deck, Razer game pad, two joysticks, G29 pedals, Blue Yeti mic, TrackIR cam and two external drives, one remains connected virtually all the time. Needless to say, while the NZXT hub did not help with the connection sounds "issue" it certainly came in handy helping out with all the USB devices along with an extra PCIe 7 port USB 2.0 card. All of these devices are not connected all the time aside from the mic, IR cam, Stream Deck and of course iCUE(AIO) along with the KB/Mouse. All, other than the IR cam and mic connect at start with some sort of software except the external drive(s). They ALL give me a connection sound when the PC boots/reboots but NOT the the external drives. The only difference with the drives and the other devices is they are given permanent drive letters just like my internal drives and the other devices are not. So, I'm assuming the PC 'keeps' them in memory and does not consider them reconnected. The point of all this is that I do not believe this is an iCUE issue, to me it appears to be a USB-MB-Software-PC issue and maybe even a windows issue and I'm not sure anything can be done to "fix" it. When my PC boots or reboots I get three or four USB connect sounds and I've just learned to live with it in my own way. In the big scheme of things it's nothing more than a slight annoyance. Also, this thread somewhere I believe kind of morphed into this issue of USB connection sounds at boot. Anyone who has joined this thread less than a year ago should go back and look at the OP's post, it was about disconnections and reconnections while the PC is actively running, gaming, I've not experienced that particular problem. I would suggest to not let this minor problem, annoyance, get you down, it really isn't worth fretting over too much. I will continue to follow the thread just in case someone some day miraculously shows up with the solution to the phantom USB connect sounds at boot. Until then, I'll just keep listening to engines revving as my PC boots/reboots. I figured if I had to hear it, it might as well be something I don't mind hearing, an engine revving, that's the sound I use for my USB connect sound, It's my PC revving to life.....
  7. That's a shame...I guess I will have to invest in a few more ML fans. Was just hoping to use these since I already had them and they were brand new. Yes sir, I already have temp probes in all the locations you speak of and and could use the MB headers but iCUE is my only fan software and that would mean adjusting in UEFI. iCUE sees my GPU and it's all easy I just need compatible fans apparently. Yes, I usually manually input into the X:Y box I just prefer the percentage scale over the RPM scale. Hopefully some day iCUE will add the option. I appreciate the quick response....Thank You
  8. I hope it's ok I'm posting here. I was searching for a resolution to my problem and this was the most recent thread I came across. I'm not very familiar with the Corsair forum and wouldn't even know how to start my own. I just installed a Commander pro along with new ML120 fans as a pull on my H150i. I also installed two EK fans as a pull on my GPU radiator and one more EK fan as case exhaust. So..a total of 6 fans connected to the CoPro. Everything is fine with the Corsair fans but the EK fans are all over the place with rpm's. I've tried everything in iCUE to resolve it. Made my own fan profiles. Used the default profiles. Tried fixed percentages and rpm. Changed the detection setting from auto detect to pwm, the fans still run all over the place from literally stopping one second(visual) then jumping to 3000+ rpm's according to iCUE display the next second. I don't even have a curve that goes higher than 1500. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas what is causing this, or are the RK fans simply not compatible with the CoPro? If not compatible that would be a real bummer. Thanks... Edits for damn auto-correct and Swype errors plus another question-- In my iCUE AIO tab fan settings the scale is temp x percentage. In the CoPro tab it's temp x rpm(0 to 5000). I find using a percentage much easier and when most fans don't go over 2000 it's also much easier to make a good curve. When only making a curve for a 0 to 1500 fan using a scale that is 0 to 5000 it makes things very tight. I couldn't find a way to change the scale. Is it not possible or am I missing it somewhere? Thanks again...
  9. Well, I finally got iCue to work with the motherboard showing but now when I try and start Aura I get a message that says 'AuraService is currently unavailable. Please close Aura and check if AuraServikce is installed and started correctly'. I've tried uninstalling Aura and reinstalling...no difference. Sigh...always something it seems and just as I was finishing this comment i caught out of the corner of my eye iCue disappearing from my taskbar, I'm guessing it has quit/crashed....ugh
  10. ok thank you...yes, that has all been done but still not working for me.
  11. I can't seem to get it working with my Maximus X WiFi which is on the list. I know I have the latest Corsair version and I already had the Asus folder in my Plug-Ins before even seeing this thread but downloaded the zip and reinstalled anyway. I don't know why but I cannot seem to find the version number for the Aura software that's on my PC anywhere. I guess I will just have to download Aura again. As for the latest Bios, do you know if there a date on what the 'latest' means/is? Not a big fan of changing Bios unless absolutely needed. @DevBiker what exactly is the 'extension' you mentioned here and which 'folder' exactly are you referring to? Thanks
