  1. I was going to report an odd issue I had updating to 3.36.125. I updated within the iCue app. Half way into the update my computer restarted. Which is not a normal thing for my PC to do. Upon restart there was a notification that iCue was not able to launch. I downloaded the .msi file for iCue to attempt a fresh install to fix it. The installer said the previous version could not be removed, install aborted. I attempt the uninstall with windows uninstaller. It said it could not locate the uninstall file. I went into the Windows registry and deleted instances of iCue, noted several iCue files running in the back ground with task manager. Ended task on them, the files would relaunch and prevent me from removing the Corsair folder in Program files manually. I quickly killed the tasks in task manager, and then deleted the Corsair folder before the processes could relaunch. Finally was able to remove the Corsair folder. Re-ran the .msi installer and it successfully installed and appears to be working OK again and my lighting and fan profiles were still there.
  2. I have a small form factor PC that currently runs an SF600. I plan to add some additional different hardware that makes me want a little more in the tank so I purchased the SF750. Are the cables that came with the SF600 compatible with the SF750? Thanks
  3. I'm sure the pump/res is to tall to mount vertically under the graphics card on top of the bottom 280mm rad. Can the pump/res be turned on its side?
  4. That sounds right, as this GPU would never work with a radiator in the front of the case. The EK customer configurator accounts for this and builds a 280mm radiator at the top and bottom since there wouldn't be any room in the front. I guess the Corsair one just needs a little refinement yet to account for that. Its too bad it doesn't alert you to this and allow you to self modify to put a 280mm at the top and bottom.
  5. Just curious, I tried the customer configurator with my 680X case and it said this case was not compatible with Hydro X. What would be the reasoning behind it not being compatible? The parts are as follows: 680X Maximus XI Extreme 9900K Evga 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra I assume something about the case won't fit one of the Hydro X parts?
  6. I don't have any sort of USB controller crash. Doesn't matter what i'm doing I could be away from my computer and I can hear the USB disconnect sound and look at the PC and see the RGB lights on the pump block shut off and come back on. Then the USB sound reconnects. It briefly disapears from iCue. What I did was instead of running the Pump heads USB through the Commander Pro I connected it directly to the motherboards internal USB 2 header and am powering the Cooler on its own Sata power off the PSU. Hoping to isolate it. Didn't make any difference. About every 5 minutes it disconnects and reconnects. Yeah I don't recommend RMA as it seems anyone will get the same defective unit.
  7. So I had purchased the H115i Platinum as a replacement to the H115i Pro on day one when it was launched. I had no issues with the Pro. My Platinum constantly disconnects from USB every few minutes and reconnects. Which is incredibly annoying. I lose fan/pump settings when this happens. I opened a support ticket and they sent me a new H115i Platinum. This one does the same exact thing. I had no issues with the Pro. Also annoying that I am paying return shipping for the previous Platinum and the issue is still there. I had updated the firmware as well. Anybody else with the same issue?
  8. Just wanted to add that I have the same issue on my H115i Platinum. The USB on it is ran through a Commander Pro. Previously had the Pro version connected same way. No issues. I started a support ticket.
  9. Looks like 280mm rad in the top with 140mm fans in the front will be fine. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/LcV6Mp
  10. Its going to be an ITX motherboard. I have some Trident Z RGB that I have for it already. You think the 280mm rad extends down to the memory modules?
  11. Well here is where things get muddy and back to my original post as to why I only see conflicting information. The downloadable documentation on the corsair site says a 280mm radiator at the top is fine. The overview page on Corsair shows a 280mm radiator at the top fits. The Bit Tech, Overclock3d, and Tech Report reviews all say a 280mm radiator at the top is OK. But I still see some other reviews that state only 240mm at the top. Looks like there is a 2mm difference in thickness between the H100i Pro and H115i Pro. The 115i being the thicker one.
  12. New "leaked" Intel roadmap. https://www.techradar.com/news/intel-roadmap-points-to-the-core-i9-9900k-releasing-in-early-2019 Since you have the 280X case. I'm concenred with a 280mm radiator at the top will two 140mm fans fit in the front? I suspect its possible that the radiator would come in contact with part of the 140mm fan on the front of the case. Where as a 120mm would sit just below the radiator. What do you think?
  13. I think I will ultimately go with a top mount radiator since the amount of heat coming from the gpu into the case is minimal since its a blower cooler. I would like to keep the coolest air possible going to the gpu. Someday, I will no longer have blower coolers then I would likely move the radiator to the front. I had planned on putting a Z390 Strix-I itx motherboard in here with an i8-9700K 8 core cpu. But now it looks like none of that is launching until 1st quarter 2019.
  14. Thanks for the suggestion I will consider it. Does it change your suggestion that I will be using a Titan X Pascal in it since it's the blower cooler.
  15. Why the front? Wouldn't that put alot of heat into the case?
