  1. I did the almost same thing with my k95 platinum. Hummed and ahhd about it for a week or so, but, eventually just stuck it in the dishwasher (Keys down) on a wash no hotter than 60 degrees, (Don't use a tablet, just fresh water..) and then after shaking it out it went into the airing cupboard for a week. Works perfectly. You have nothing to lose at this stage I'd guess..! Good luck!
  2. I got my replacement mouse as instructed above from Amazon, first thing I tested was (Naturally) if it behaved in the same way as the returned one. Nope it didn't, at least NOT on the same button however the RIGHT button on this one is triggered with a small drop now! Must say I expected better, is anyone even testing these mice before we have to go through all of this? Pretty hacked off as you can guess. I'll be returning this one too. Not Happy at all. John.
  3. Thanks for the prompt reply, I thought as much, I guess I was clutching at straws and being reluctant to return my shiny new mouse and going a few days without it. Out with 'ol faithful' for now then! :) - I'll get straight down the returns shop for my local Amazon depot on Wednesday and do the necessary. :) Thanks for your advice and help! B'rgds, John.
  4. You could try looking on Ebay? I found one in a few seconds: Search for the type specified for your mouse which I believe should be USB 2.0 Type-A Cable? - and any quality manufacturer of your choice.
  5. Hi I'm about to return my Dark Core RGB Pro SE (2020 w/Qi Charging) Mouse back to Amazon after buying it from the Amazon UK Corsair shop and having had it only one day because of what I'm finding to be an unusable condition where the LMB is triggered by the slightest lift and tap back down on to the charging mat surface whilst gaming or even browsing. IE: Gaming, in World of Tanks, mouse start to drift a little away from me, or shifting grip I lift the mouse off the surface of the charging mat and bring it a touch closer to me (Quickly lifting the mouse maybe a quarter to half inch from the surface relocating an inch or three then placing it back down to the surface) upon placing it down onto the surface again the LMB 'triggers' and fires the Tank Gun, (and there goes my camouflage and I'm detected by the enemy and blown to shreds waiting for a reload..!) PRETTY ANNOYING! :( I read that maybe something called lift detection could help? Can't find it anywhere in iCUE settings.. But it seems my issue is only happening when I place it down and not when lifting it off the surface. It seems the LMB is triggered by the slightest tap in all cases I tested on the browser close and minimise buttons out of games and yes, it happens there too. Is there anything I can do to address the issue in iCUE or should I go ahead and return the mouse for a swap and fingers crossed it won't happen on the next one? Hoping someone can help. B'rgds, John.
  6. My real wonder is that there isn't a checkbox in iCUE somewhere that just gives each profile a run of say a minute (Users could select their own time!) before it cycles to the next in the list.. Is there a technical limitation for this? Or is it some kind of licencing thing? Either way, it's a shame it can't be implemented. (Sorry for not knowing the reasons why, I'm sure it's been discussed ad-nauseam in here.. )
  7. Hi Adophis3 this seems to have solved a lot of my problems! Cheers! Looks like the pairing must have been lost after all thanks to iCUE's poor updating process. Cheers Mate!
  8. Thanks I'll give that a go. Report back after a day or so.
  9. Wish I had never invested a considerable small fortune in this mouse. Cable unplugged, the mouse falls asleep after approx 2 minutes and there is a pregnant pause before it wakes of about 2-3 seconds every time, it is so very, very annoying when you expect it to be just alive when you touch it. Sometimes moving it is not enough it needs a click from a button to wake it, sometimes i have to plug the cable in, sometimes I have to use the little reset hole under the mouse to get it to function at all because a re-boot does not work either, on re-boot it's still as dead as a paperweight, sometimes, more than then three or four times a day, I have to go through all or some of the above to get the useless thing to work again. I'm using the full suite of Corsair stuff here including the fancy mouse charging pad with USB slot right next to the mouse. I feel cheated, I have a fully updated version of iCUE, and the check boxes properly selected to disable sleep mode and power saving mode. Sometimes after plugging in the device and leaving it for a whole day I return home to find it has not charged at all. I've read many similar problems about this mouse and must say I never expected to be a test user for a product that has turned out to be very poor in performance for me. I'm willing to listen to any probable fixes if anyone can help because I'm fresh out of ideas and patience. Thanks.
