  1. It might be worth updating your BIOS if you aren't on the latest. I was on an old BIOS for my Maximus XI Formula and when I updated to the latest version of AURA one of my G.Skill memory sticks was not recognised by the software. Once I updated to the latest BIOS is suddenly started working properly.
  2. For the time being there is a workaround which also works for devices like Trident Z memory that are supported by AURA but not iCUE yet. What you want to do is close and exit iCUE if it is open, then open AURA and set your offline RGB settings and any other devices not supported by iCUE's plugin, then close AURA and re-open iCUE and set everything else up from there. Your offline settings and memory/ARGB settings should remain as they were set in AURA. I have Trident Z RGB memory which is not supported in iCUE's AURA plugin so I've done this for my memory RGB and offline settings. Hope this works for you too.
  3. Excellent, thanks for confirming. I'll give Armoury Crate a try.
  4. Just to clarify, do you have Armoury Crate installed instead of AURA? If that's the case and it's working properly, I'll do that too so I can regain control of my LiveDash. Thanks :)
  5. What? My motherboard is AURA Sync compatible. It's an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula. I have it working with AURA, but it seems ASUS are trying to move RGB functionality and LiveDash control to their new piece of software Armoury Crate... Armoury Crate works on AURA compatible products and can control RGB and other things such as LiveDash OLED screens. My concern is that the ASUS LiveDash software that previously worked together with AURA no longer works and requires the user to install Armoury Crate to control their LiveDash OLED screens, which according to ASUS' instructions you must uninstall AURA first. I'm not sure if AURA and Armoury Crate use the same LightingService but I'm wondering if anyone knows a way around this, or if it's actually possible to run iCUE w/AURA control and Armoury Crate at the same time without them interfering with each other. Otherwise it seems that if I want to continue using iCUE control of my motherboard LEDs I have to lose my LiveDash functionality... Or were you only replying to my comment about the G.Skill RGB Memory? My whole post was quoted so I'm not sure haha..
  6. I'm running a Z390 Maximus XI Formula, I've just updated my BIOS to get the latest version of AURA working and this iCUE plugin is working for me, however it only controls motherboard LEDs and strips connected to the RGB headers. My G.Skill Trident Z RGB memory isn't controllable via iCUE. The workaround for this is to setup the RGB on the memory in AURA before setting the rest up in iCUE. The issue I have right now, is that I cannot control my LiveDash OLED anymore because ASUS for some reason have ditched support for the standard LiveDash software in the latest version of AURA, and have integrated the LiveDash control into Armoury Crate. I can open the LiveDash software but I can't change what's displayed on the OLED screen. Armoury Crate apparently requires AURA to be uninstalled, according to the instructions provided by ASUS. I believe this is because Armoury Crate now controls both RGB and OLED screens on ASUS products. The things I am wondering are: - Does anyone know if the iCUE plugin works with Armoury Crate? Or does it have to be AURA specifically? - Can you have AURA and Armoury Crate installed at the same time without screwing up AURA's functionality? I wonder if perhaps AURA takes priority for RGB control over Armoury Crate, perhaps I can just use Armoury Crate to control my LiveDash. Though I am worried I will screw everything up if I install Armoury Crate with AURA installed. ASUS software is not typically reliable..
  7. It's in the regular AURA software under settings>RGB headers>calibration. Yeah it might only be for the RGB headers after all. Damn.
  8. This is a really cool idea, thanks OP! For those having issues with incorrect colours, you may have already tried this but I thought I would mention it anyway. Aura sync has a calibration mode under "settings" where it will ask you to input what colour is displayed as it shows red, green and blue. You could try messing with that and it may resolve it, I'm not sure though. I haven't tried this yet so this may be a dumb question, but does this RGB program need to be running at all times to sync Aura and iCUE? or is it a set and forget type thing?
  9. Does anyone know if this issue exists in the previous version of iCUE? I am experiencing this issue currently and am considering rolling back.
  10. This is easily the feature that I want to see the most. It would be fantastic to be able to have one app for lighting control across my whole system.
  11. Just wanted to make a quick shout out to David and Brian at Tech Support who have been a huge help and made my RMA experience a smooth one. I've had mixed experiences in the past but these guys were great. They've replaced my keyboard for me and will be having a closer look at my old one for testing soon. I've only had the new keyboard for a couple days so I can't say for sure whether it has any of the same issues yet, however if they do return I'll post here again.
  12. This is a really cool idea. I have ASUS Aura but I think it might be similar in the way it uses an xml file. I'll have to check. I would love to see iCUE integrate this kind of ability to change the colours of your RGB components connected to the motherboard using standard connectors.
  13. Hey Jpott, I would not pay any collateral if your system was purchased new and is still under warranty. I don't understand why you would have to pay $500 when the product you purchased failed? If a product fails or has issues under warranty, the manufacturer or seller is supposed to fix or replace the product at no extra cost to you. Something doesn't sound right.
  14. I am waiting on Corsair support to contact the CUE team about these issues, but I have had zero luck getting a response from any of the Corsair employees here on the forum. I'm not really sure why they aren't chiming in. I don't know if they are the same people as technical support or a separate group, either way I'm hoping to get at least one of these issues resolved before this thread is buried and never seen again..
