Just as an update to anyone who was looking for an answer, Armory Crate doesn't seem to play nicely with iCUE it seems. If anyone else is having this issue my fix has been to hand off the mobo, gpu and rgb header lighting to Armory Crate and then once iCUE v4 is fully installed and running to enable the plugins for Asus under iCUE settings. This doesnt seem to actually hand off the RGB lighting to iCUE but just having the plugin enabled has stopped all crashes for me and picks up the colour schemes. Hope this helps someone 🙂

Hi there, im having issues with my iCUE software currently where it will consistently crash back to hardware lighting. My setup consists of the iCUE H150i ELITE LCD, 9x iCUE ML120 RGB ELITE Premium 120mm PWM and Corsair Dominator RGB RAM. This is all linked up to a commander core using splitters and a powered PMW Fan hub. Everything works exactly as it should except for the consistent background crashing, and the fact that when importing any profiles only the RAM will pick up the lighting and nothing else. I do have the ASUS Armory crate controlling lighting for the mobo and gpu and case. any help would be appreciated. I have exported a log file but unsure which one to attach.

just an update on my own issues, swapped out the motherboard, same model asus hero xi, issues completely resolved. No voltage irregularities and USB disconnects completely gone. Went back to using the co pro with zero issues. So would like to add that if you can find your own specific root cause it can be cured and when it works it's excellent.

Ok, desperate now. new commander pro, nothings changed. Constant disconnects and the same voltage fluctuations as written above? im positive its not the PSU, its powering everything else in the build with no stability issues at all. any ideas?even tried older versions of icue.

no dice, made no difference at all, just agreed to have the commander pro rma'd, should be with me thursday.

I've uninstalled everything i can think of, the only other software i have running is razer synapse, been through a whole troubleshooting process most today, unplugged fans individually etc, just about to try without synapse, i do have hwinfo64 installed but not running?

No it was one bought individually, When i get the usb disconnect sound or an icue hitch the voltages drop from from 12v to 0.51, 5v rasies to 12.00 and 3 raises to 4.97... im watching the graph now as im typing this. Literally no idea whats going on, i've got a self test on the PSU and a few spare sata cables about so i'll try swapping. Any ideas for me?

Well i've been through a new h100i plat as the firmware update icue suggested bricked it in the process, new cooler and still the same issues. The only thing i was hoping someone could comment on for me is when icue is running, i get stutters and freezes like everyone else it seems, but when these happen the 12v 5v and 3.3v voltages in the right hand side of my copro monitoring drop hugely and bottom out, is anyone else seeing this? Possibly a mobo issue? i bought a nzxt internal USB 2.0 hub but made no difference

i've been having the disconnect and usb sounds and my commander pro not being recognised as of the latest icue. just a moment ago my h100i told me it had a firmware update available, clicked it, got stuck and icue crashed, now it doesnt show and neither does my copro but the fans are stuck at 100%

When you say logs are you reffering to the service_error file in service logs? how do i attatch this as its over 15mb? thanks

No Ai suite 3, just the latest bios 1005 and drivers for the hero xi, the main issues are that sometimes the LL fans/ RGB strips wont light up at all, even at a hardware level, H100i plat ramps up, disconnects and flickers and this now seems to crash or cause instability of icue. The best i've managed so far is to disable icue after setting lighting at hardware level and fan profiles. Still get the odd disconnect and fan revs but not constantly. just heading to work so will attatch logs later today.

Fresh install of windows 10 home, nothing but ASU’s hero xi drivers installed and Nvidia latest graphics driver, I have it connected via commander pro, the usb from the pump goes straight into the copro and this also controls four LL fans and 4 RGB strips, I’ll attach some logs for you tomorrow as it’s late and trying to resolve this has done me over, appreciate the reply though!

Has anybody got any advice or updates regarding this? everything was fine until i updated yesterday to the lastest version of icue. now everything disconnects, fans ramp up and flickering occurs, i used to be able to cure this by setting a static colour for my H100i plat. Please it's literally driving me crazy, i have invested a lot into this system and the corsair platform, ive done a full reinstall of windows 10 fresh and started out by just installing icue. nothing is fixing this issue for me :(
