  1. So I got my LS100 Starter pack a year or so ago, and within about 6 months, they started having this issue where after about an hour of my PC being on, the LED strips would all just freeze into place and the Color Wave I set up wouldn't work any more. Just an FYI, I have 2x250mm and 3x450mm strips which I have been assured works just fine. I gave up on them for a little while but recently decided to give them another shot considering I still would like to use them. But the same issue is occuring. I have tried checking for updates, forced a firmware update, I have disconnected the strips in a variety of places, it still all ends up the same way, with the pulse getting stuck and not moving unless I pull the power cable out of the LS100 and plug it back in. Any solutions would be greatly accepted, I really like the look of my setup when their running, but when they freeze it looks kinda jank.
  2. Its not a system requirement. all those headers do is allow you to control the speed of those fans in three set speeds. You could completely ignore these and plug the fans into other controllers, like the mobo or a NoPro/CoPro, or you could do what I have done, which is to put most of the fans through controllers, and put one or two through the variable. I enjoy the audible feedback of pressing the button to make the fans speed up or slow down. Hope this helps.
  3. I would recommend sticking with the microfiber cloth, as it picks up dust particles really well. Personally, when I clean out my 780T, I just do it dry. The parts I can't get at easily i use a small canister of compressed air which normally does a bang up job. You can also use these on the dust filters as well, but they can be taken apart if so wished by bending back the aluminium tabs holding the mesh in place. The streak marks I cant really help with, except maybe giving it a good rubdown with a clean microfiber cloth at the end. This could also help get rid of most of the fingerprints. Good luck, and I hope this somewhat helped.
  4. Hi guys. So I got my Dominator platinum mid-last year, and when I plugged it in and turned everything on, it didn't register as a separate product. I tried scouring the internet for help, not couldn't find anything. In the end, I had to try and sort it out my self. the fan power came from a fan header extension, so it was being run of one of the chassis headers on the motherboard. The RGB header went into a commander pro socket, and i told the controller that the fans were a single ML 120 RGB fan. this then caused both the fans to light up properly, with none of the LEDs not lighting up. Since then I have had no issues with it. I hope this is able to help others in some way, as I sure would have liked to find this when I first got the Dominator. P.S. All of this is running of iCue. I have no idea if it works with Link, but lets hope so
