  1. So, i've been waiting for a fix, or even some good news since February 2019, it's exactly two years, this is unbelievable. They don't care, never cared and never will care about this, at this point i'm just gonna ditch my h100 and switch to a different cooler, i'm sick to wait honestly.
  2. So, mind if i ask, what is the point of this thread? I'm sorry but i don't get it! The division between older, or "legacy" like you like to address them, and newer products doesn't make any sense since, as we widely stated in the previous thread, both "lines" of coolers suffer of the same issue and it's quite clear that the problem itself is in the software and not in the hardware. Plus, in the old thread there were TONS of reports, between user experiences, logs and what not... Are we starting this again? So we can wait another 2 years? But yeah, apparently Corsair is busy releasing new shiny, rgb and pricey stuff rather than actually care about their customers. Do you realize that because of this issue the software is causing, people who spent HUNDREDS of dollars buying your stuff are left with basically paperweights? Or do you think we all won the lottery, and we're supposed to buy a newer product throwing in the trash what we have, just because your dev team hasn't managed to (or hasn't cared about) releasing a sofware that works how is supposed to? There's no way i'm buying anyting from Corsair again.
  3. I've tried using a fixed fan profile and realized that iCUE stays running with no problem whatsoever, so i guess the issue is software related and more specifically because it's not able to "handle" custom fan profiles and screws up the whole program somehow...
  4. As expected no news, not even a sign they're actually acknowledging this issue. This is so frustrating... At this point the only option i can think of is to get an Aquacomputer Quadro and hookup my h100i and its respective fans to it and use Aurora to control my kb and mouse rgb... Anyone knows if i can get a clean pwm signal so i can control just the pump bypassing the usb controller?
  5. So, i tried installing Aida64 to have something to compare iCue with. When it freezes, i realized that Aida stops updating temps as well, same with Afterburner with GPU temp. So my guess is that iCUE mess in some weird way with the registry keys where all the programs get information from the internal sensors (CPU diode, mb, etc...). It's interesting how every tech Youtuber is s****ing Corsair's knob and promote all their products but there are some major issues in their software that makes everything they sell basically a paperweight. Corsair? Never again.
  6. Just realized that there's a new Update available (v.3.17.94) for iCUE, checking rn if anything is changed... EDIT: Still the same as before.
  7. So, after further investigation, i realized that what causes the software to freeze is one of the three processes needed for normal operation that shut itself down forn unknown reasons More precisely is Corsair.Service.DisplayAdapter.exe that disappears in the task manager, whenever the graphs go flat. In my case doesn't happen only when the cpu is under stress but even at idle. What i do to bring it back to working is opening the Task Manager > Details, go to "CorsairService.exe" > right click > end process tree and it restarts automatically.
  8. So, i made a custom exe for icue that automatically sets high priority to those processes, maybe it's not the most elegant way to do it but surely the quickest one. Just disable iCUE autostart in the settings and then set the auto start for the custom EXE in this way: if you don't trust to download the .zip file here is the script i used: START "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\CORSAIR iCUE Software\iCUE Launcher.exe" [/HIGH] TIMEOUT 5 wmic process where 'name="Corsair.Service.DisplayAdapter.exe"' CALL setpriority "high priority" wmic process where 'name="Corsair.Service.CpuIdRemote64.exe"' CALL setpriority "high priority" wmic process where 'name="Corsair.Service.exe"' CALL setpriority "high priority" iCUE_modified.zip
  9. EDIT: i did what others suggested and so far is working fine, looking forward to see if the issue is totally fixed.
  10. Corsair link is not a valid alternative in my case, my M65 mouse is not supported, plus the software doesn't allow to create custom fan curve for the cooler... :sigh!:
  11. After the update, nothing changed. That is quite disappointing in my opinion, because it means that Corsair didn't even take in consideration what seems a quite common and serious issue with their software. Again, very very disappointed.
  12. I'm still having the freezing issues. I Registered to the forum for this reason because it's really annoying me... I tried everything and i couldn't make it to work. basically the Corsair iCue software stops monitoring, and having a custom fan curve for my cooler (h100i v2) leave the fan speed stuck at a certain %. Had some issues With my M65 Pro RGB as well a couple of times when it wasn't even detected in the software and couldn't change any setting. If i try to restart the iCUE service thru the settings window, i get an error (look at the screenshot) but the software starts monitoring again, then works for 5 minutes and freezes again.Log.zip
