  1. Just if anyone is thinking of returning their HG10: Don't. It is not worth the trouble. I returned mine some three weeks ago, have not heard from Corsair since, let alone received my money back. They do not answer my support ticket requests. They basically ignore me. This has been my last Corsair product ever. Really sad that it has come to this. Oh, before i forget: They even had me pay the shipping cost for a hardware component that simply does not work at all...
  2. I totally agree. Also hot cookies are pretty tasty in contrast to hot graphics cards.
  3. A little "consolation" for users that have problems with the HG10 N980: I tried the Evga Hybrid and the pump noise is beyond good and evil. My whole case vibrated and accoring to users on the Evga forum, thats normal. ^^ I'll try the MSI Sea Hawk next, the H55 is supposed to be silent...
  4. The problem with voltage control is that the rpm range is more limited. So you can often only go from 50 to 100 percent instead of 30 to 100. My Noiseblocker fansshow an interesting behaviour btw: They don't run at all if the pwm signal is below 25 percent.
  5. I decided to send my hardware back since it is such a disaster. Shame on Corsair, really. Not only does your stuff not work as advertised it also almost killed my 700 Euro graphics cards.
  6. Welcome to the club, mate. This is really very, very frustrating. I loosened the screws a bit as suggested by support. It almost killed my card. Went to 95 degrees celsius in two seconds. So its either bent card and super high temperatures or no bend but danger of destruction by heat. Great job, Corsair.
  7. Contacted suppoert, they told me to "loosen the screws"... Great.
  8. Oh, but it does have a reference PCB: http://s21.postimg.org/8iq3ynsyv/20151106_151600.jpg I reinstalled the H90 cooler, it is basically the same but a bit better. Temps reach 70 degrees with Furmark. Fan speed is around 1100... Also, the card bends quite a bit due to the installed pump head: http://s24.postimg.org/wwo9254yd/20151106_163904.jpg
  9. I do indeed own the V1 version, but according to MSI that is a reference PCB, the shroud is a bit different though and might have different screw holes in the shroud. I am going to re-attach the cooling unit, take some photos in the process and let you guys know.
  10. The bend seems to come from the HG10, as far as I can tell.
  11. +40mv, so not really overvolted, no. Guess I really need to remove the cooler. Meh. Yeah, right, in Witcher 3 it's above 80...
  12. It's done. I installed my HG10 today. http://s21.postimg.org/mckm3rrol/20151105_204435.jpg The card bends quite a lot with the cooler installed, although I did not overtighten the screws. Also, the installation process is not that easy while the manual does not give very useful information. There are screws where you would not expect them and the manual does not help one bit. It consists virtually of four or five pages with minimalistic illustrations. Really bad job, Corsair. Please also note that the actual cooler, not the shroud, needs some patience and careful pulling to come off, be really very careful here and make sure all screws are removed. My idle temp is around 29-35 degrees, what about you guys? Edit: Just did some more testing. I use the H90 and a fan with around 900 rpm. Should I really reach temps above 70 degrees?! Or is something wrong with the installation of the cooler? Testing with Furmark, card is running at a bit more than 1400 Mhz.
  13. I ordered mine directly from Corsair. Apparently, they ship from the Netherlands in Europe. Should be here tomorrow. :)
  14. The HG 10 also brings the bonus of being able to add a larger radiator.
