I am having the exact same issue which started from an error about "Macro Execution Unavilable". No matter what I can't install a new version, repair the version or manually remove its always saying I have the latest version of iCUE installed. I have tried basically all the help articles but can no longer use any of my corsair products properly; which there are many. This all started after doing a corsair iCUE update. My machine presently thinks 5.5.134 is installed. in add and remove program all options are greyed out.

All I am missing is this software. I've got almost everything Corsair in my new build because I wanted to do a corsair specific build. So I've got VENGEANCE RGB, 3 x 120 HD Fans, Commander Pro, Corsair RGB Led fan hub, Corsair PSU, Corsair Cables, Next to come are Corsair K65, MM800, Sabre RGB, Void Pro RGB to complete my build. The only thing I don't have is a corsair case but I do love my fractal nano s. So I really need this software to bring out the true awesomeness in my build while playing EDM. A beta or alpha invite would be awesome.. pretty please.
