  1. Nope, the caps were bought 2 years ago - just out of warranty. That's why I'm thinking built in obsolescence
  2. It's every keybaord so far...? my old G710 cracked, so I bought the K65, after corsair released PBT I immeidately switch, and here we are. And if you think it's related to how the keyboard is used...even the pause break key cracked, and I'm 100% sure that key is not used lol
  3. This is the pause/break key just for example, you can see the crack on it and it's found on every key I pulled so far, so...it's just I'm so unlucky? edit: Like I said...the key is not falling off or something like that, and these cracks can only be seen in good light condition, but may be it's just all my keyboards... lol
  4. Well may be you're lucky or .. I don't know, I found cracks in all caps so I doubt it's individual case. In most case the mount is still "intact" even with visible crack, so may be you just mised it.
  5. Dig it up and look, even if they haven't fall off the cracks are there. I've found cracks even in Scroll lock key - I don't think I've ever used that key. So it's definitely not a use and wear issue. It's almost a case of built-in obsolescence... And to find cracks in space bar ... is a pain in the S, because that 1 key is where every brand don't play well with each other.
  6. I'm a very early adopter and I'd say the key cap set has disappointingly short life span. 1 just broke, and visible crack was seen in most if not all caps already. I'm considering to switch keyboard brand in prospect that down the line I'll need to replace the key caps again, and your closest competitor is selling a set at half the price. TL;DR - bought PBT set because ABS mounts cracked, PBT set mounts cracked just like ABS.
  7. After using it for couple months I can say it's a worthy upgrade. The solid feel of PBT caps are incredible.
  8. Same here, the poor QC is quite a let down.
  9. Getting mine from Amazon, ordered day 1 (2017.10.17) and took almost 2 months to stock/ship to me. Can't wait.
  10. any news when amazon will stock? corsair store won't ship to Hong Kong
  11. Actually I shouldn't call it impossible. http://www.yomura.com.tw/double-injection.html It is possible, but judging by the other double shot key caps I believe it is cheaper/easier to use a connected type face? e.g. http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/page-en/Ducky-Shine-6/ or aforementioned vortex set. So...may be Corsair decided to spare no expense on this one, may be?
  12. No offense but... these really doubleshot? I thought it is impossible to doubleshot D/O using this type face as they're not "connected"? http://www.corsair.com/~/media/corsair/product-images/hid-accessories/pbt-ds-keycaps/white/large/ds_keycaps_wht_03_blu.png?h=210&thn=0&w=265
  13. ordered 1 on amazon, hope it decided to ship to my country when they restock... 1 more thing, are you sold out in 1 day, or every store front just listed a place holder and there weren't in fact any stock at first place?
  14. Reward... how about a discount for those who waited this long? LoL. I just hope when it release it's the right stuff. Can't wait to replace my current G710. I had to replace some FPS keys already (ABS is not good enough for real gamer) and god knows how long do I have with the rest of the keys. Hey at least thanks to Corsair (the FPS key set) it lives for now.
  15. Interesting - was there ever thought of calling it a TKL STRAFE? The plastic chassis of K63 makes it more like a STRAFE than a short K70/lit'ed K65. So far all K-series are aluminum, not? Or does 63 comes from just being a cheaper K65?
