  1. Yeah, there appears to be a issue with my Void Elite USB too. I found it muffled and competing with sounds almost like a compressor/auto levelling fighting with each other and had it ramping up to quite a horrible experience. Mine would even do it every now and then streaming radio, if I refreshed the browser it would be good for a while then rinse and repeat. I am currently using Dolby Atmos to run the EQ side on my headphones and it is working great which also ruled out my nearly new headphone being faulty.
  2. iCue 4.11.274 - All gear updated Asus Rog Strix B550-F WiFi Corsair Vengance RGB Pro 32Gb(4x8) Ryzen 5 5600X Gigabyte RTX 2060S 3X OC (Fusion disabled) Lighting Node Corsair LL120's (9) Windows 10 21H1 Everything up to date, drivers, BIOS etc. Only issues are the red triangle ram lockup and the audio ramping issues with the Corsair Void RGB Elite USB headphones(currently running it with Dolby Atmos until solution) all other Corsair gear fans, headphone, mouse, keyboard RGB are working fine. Both issues started with upgrading to iCue v4
  3. If I had a dollar for each time I thought I had fixed this mess I could probably afford a different setup and be done with it. I think the W10 update did me in as well but if it wasn't that it would have been something else I am sure.
  4. I have never been happy with the microphone on the Void Elite RGB headset. To get enough pickup registering you have to shout to the point where even if you talking to someone on another continent they could probably hear you without the mic anyway. You only have to look at the Test your microphone level indicator in Windows sound settings to know you are getting nowhere.
  5. I had similar when I went to a Strix B550-F with a Ryzen 5600X (both 1104 and the latest stable BIOS) My Strix B450-F Ryzen 3600 had been working fine. Annoyed I ended up turning off the Asus plugin for a while. Then I hit update on the iCue and suddenly I had upgraded to iCue V4. I had to then go get Armoury Crate where my second "blunder" set in as I did not bother to uninstall Aura Sync first. Thing is that even though it was a mistake now with neither Armory or Aura running(obviously) my ram sticks and everything is running great, no hang or red triangle on the ram which I was getting non stop previously since my component upgrade. It is early days but I have been trying to see if I can break it and ain't done it yet. I think I will leave it as it is.
  6. I put the 2 fans that come with the case behind the cable cover because I had LL120's for the visual side of the project. You would have to check but IIRC the 140's might use the same screw allocation rails as the 120's towards the RHS(cable management) side of the case and the additional rail on the glass side. Looking at mine it would have to be that way since the 1st LL120 is practically touching the cover.
  7. Same as Jamie, I didn't use the washers and the center standoff is quite convenient. I figured even with my CPU tower it would be pushing down with the weight against the standoff so it is not really a problem IMO.
  8. There is another thread here covering this issue where I am not sure too many solutions were found. I just opened iCue made sure everything was up to date and in the settings I disabled only the - Enable Plugins. I am a couple of days in now with no issues at all, can change presets and done about 20 restarts due to other setups/updates etc. Asus Strix B550-F Wifi with a Ryzen 5600X latest stable BIOS(BIOS update didn't fix the issue BTW) PS never had the issue till I upgraded the MB and CPU from a Strix B450-F, Ryzen 3600 so figured maybe that the later edition was not playing nice.
  9. Upgraded from a Strix B450-F - Ryzen 3600 to a Strix B550-F - Ryzen 5600X and instantly the poop hit the fan with my 4 Vengeance RGB Pro sticks, it was working fine before this, then the red triangle, locked up etc. It was doing nothing for my OCD. A restart of iCue from within the app seem to fix it for about 5 minutes if I was lucky, I updated iCue, my BIOS to the latest stable thinking that might help...but no. After running out of things to update I ended up just disabling the plugins only and left SDK on, I am about 11 hours in with this new found arrangement and so far(touch wood, pray to whoever) it has been without incident and working great.
  10. Thanks Corsair, I impulse purchased the cool looking 5000D Airflow and it ended up costing me a fortune.
  11. I had this issue and believe it fails as you are running the update or installing via the Aura setup.exe It either half installs or pretends to do the job with no result. One instance I had the software appear to be installed but faulty, another go the app was missing from the program files completely. Updated my chipset drivers, reinstalled Aura and restarted PC and got it up and running in iCue no probs and works great. Was supposed to update the BIOS next but that would be like picking a sore tooth with a paperclip after that fiasco.
  12. Not sure if it is the same issue but I have a ASUS ROG board 6 x LL120 fans and discovered that if you have the Aura set to Temperature all sorts of crap happens ie crashing of iCue or you get BSOD every 5 to 15 mins because it appears to conflict with the Corsair monitoring system. Any other setting other than temp in Aura my PC doesn't have any other issues at all(few months now). I have a Deepcool Gammaxx GT with a couple of non Corsair white bodied fans on it, center logo on the heatsink lights up too or I would have booted/disabled Aura.
  13. Okay so I tried Corsair Link 4 and it lasted about 5 mins and same thing happened, I booted Link off and then I tried iCue again this time turning off the Asus Aura and of course Afterburner. It installed okay and after a while 2 hours with no issue I opened Aura and changed the setting from temp to static and it has been running ever since. So I am thinking it is possible that having both Aura and iCue trying to be reading the temps might be throwing a spanner in the works. Or it could all head south again and just taking it's time.
  14. Thanks xMacias It can't hurt to try the Link software and if it does not do the same as iCue with the BSOD I will proceed. I am not really into all the disco stuff so even if I could set it to temp and be done with it I would be happy.
  15. Hi there all I got a little problem that maybe someone can help me with. I purchased 2X Corsair LL120 RGB White RGB PWM Fan Triple Pack w/Lighting Node Pro. I did not need them but they have a white housing and having a white PC build I convinced myself they were nearly as essential as the OS. Anyway they are still sitting in the unopened boxes because I didn't get that far. Preparing for the changeover I downloaded iCue 3.22.74 and installed it. Did not bother running it and carried on. I opened my google chrome and within 5-10 minutes I was looking a black screen. My power button is set to shut down but that was non responsive so after a while I had to kill the power or it would still be running. Did some research using my standby PC I keep for such occasions, started back up turned of MSI Afterburner. Riva etc and basically had the same thing happen. Uninstalled HWMonitor etc and then after a while ended up with a unprompted restart. I uninstalled iCue and all was back to normal. I then tried iCue 3.23.66 and did not do any better at all. I have a Ryzen 5 2600, Asus Rog Strix B350-F Gaming MB, 32GB Teamgroup Dark Rog 3000 MHz ram, OS is on a Samsung SSD, SuperNOVA 750 G2 80 PLUS GOLD PSU I noticed I am not the only one struggling with iCue but was wondering if I could use the Corsair Link software? Or if there is a known fix since I am only seeing the problem using google not many answers. thanks
