  1. If you go through the clean uninstall procedure, reboot and then try to install 5.9 does it still happen?
  2. Got 5.9 on all three of my PCs now, all three managed to upgrade from v4 without problems. One required me to restart the PC, but they all appear to be running fine now.
  3. v5.9 has been released, so far it appears to have resolved the crashing issues I was having with 5.8
  4. Just did an upgrade from v4 to the new v5.9, so far it looks like things are working ok. I'll try it on the other two PCs later tonight. I don't know how much you're allowed to discuss it, but I'd love to know whatever you can share about what was causing such a significant problem for so many of us.
  5. those are the instructions on Corsair’s site for doing a clean uninstall/reinstall of iCUE. Sadly, they didn’t work for me, the problem with iCUE5 came right back.
  6. I don’t think that’s how v5 works, you install the basic part and then it downloads the modules it needs which are updated independently. It’s not like v4 where you download the whole thing in one big file.
  7. And now PC 1 is having the same problem, iCUE is crashing on startup with v5.8.130. That's all three of them.
  8. PC 2 listed above just spontaneously rebooted, and when it came back up iCUE 5 crashed on startup. I couldn't even find it in the Start menu to try relaunching it. So I've had to go back to v4 on that machine too. Probably gonna do the same on PC 1 just to be safe for now. What a mess.
  9. If you submit a case to Tech Support here https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/requests/new the email confirmation you get will have the ticket number
  10. Maybe the crash has to do with specific modules for specific hardware? I've got 3 PCs with iCUE installed, and the other two run v5.8.130 just fine. PC 1 - runs v5.8 fine - H150i Pro RGB, K57 RGB Wireless, Harpoon RGB Wireless, HX850i, Commander Pro, Asus plugin PC 2 - runs v5.8 fine - H115i Elite Capellix, Vengeance RGB DDR5, Asus plugin PC 3 - ran v5.7 fine but crashes with v5.8 - H115i Elite Capellix XT, M65 RGB Ultra, K70 RGB Pro, Asus plugin The H115i Capellix XT in PC 3 is a recent install, iCUE was working fine before with the previous AIO(an earlier H115i, can't remember which). I honestly can't remember if I was running v5.7 or v5.8 prior to the install, but I uninstalled iCUE before putting in the new AIO just in case, so when I reinstalled it grabbed v5.8.
  11. I followed Corsair's instructions for a clean uninstall, rebooted, and installed v5.8.130 fresh. After the install, it crashes immediately when I try to start it, both after the install and after a reboot. I sent in two crash reports, and I'm going back to v4 on this machine until Corsair figures it out. Oddly, my other two PCs run 5.8 just fine, but they have different Corsair hardware installed.
  12. If I do a clean install of v5.8.130 I can get it to run, as soon as I install the ASUS plugin, iCUE will crash immediately after starting with that Crash Report box shown above. Another weird quirk, when v5.8.130 the DPI Up button on my M65 Ultra doesn't work, but DPI Down does. As soon as a exit out of iCUE, both DPI buttons work fine. This latest version is a MESS, as far as I can tell.
  13. I currently have my fans all running off the Commander Core that came with my H115i Elite Capellix AIO. I have the two fans that came with the cooler plugged into ports 1 & 2(both PWM and RGB connections), two non-lit ML140 Pro fans on the bottom(the case is a 600Q, the inverted one) connected to PWM ports 3 & 4, and a new ML140 Pro RGB plugged into PWM & RGB port 5. I created a speed profile that's set to a fixed 100% and assigned all the fans to use it. The front and bottom fan speeds are hovering around 1750-1800 rpm, but the rear fan is only doing about 1100 rpm. Is there any reason why that one fan might be running so much slower?
  14. I would KILL for this feature. I appreciate that iCUE can show us the current battery status, but some sort of alarm when a device's batter gets below a certain threshold would be awesome. A nifty add-on would be a similar notice when a device has finished charging, so we know we can unhook it.
  15. I searched the forum and I know the flashing is normal, that's not my worry. But I've got it installed in a 450D case and the drive bays have been removed. The front panel is pretty porous, and from where I sit compared to where the computer is, the flashing light is kinda distracting :) Is there any way to disable it short of disconnecting the usb cable? I'd rather not do that, I like having it show up in iCUE.
