Hi all I have this memory kit - CMX8GX3M4A1333A1 I've stress tested all the sticks with memtest86 tool and one of them have failed. Now i'm thinking to buy 1x8GB stick - CMX8GX3M1A1333C9 so i can replace the faulty one and to upgrade. In short: Is 8gb stick compatible with the 4x2gb kit?

I'm planing to upgrade from 8gb (4x2GB) XMS3 kit to 10gb RAM by taking one of the current sticks and replace it with new 1x4GB stick from the same XMS3 generation. Is this possible?
