  1. try running passmark memtest 86 as opposed to the windows built in program as this is a very good program to identify problems as the new ram may be faulty ive just had 2 sets of faulty ram myself corsair reliability do sent see-mas good as it once was
  2. problem the memory wont even work manually clocked anymore not even at the j tec settings all i get now is a black screen or the blue screen of death 2 faulty sticks in a quad pack. ive got to say it compared to the original rog ram these are seriously poor hopefully corsair will change them but im getting a bad vibe from them now. does any one now corsair policy when a product damages another as this ram damaged anothe motherboard when identifying the problem its damaged the bios on a evga dark x299 beeen a customer with corsaiar for at least 10 years if they dont wanr to now i dont think ill buy anything from them again
  3. my replacement kit has got a problem xmp wont work pc consonantly crashing but i can manually input timings and it works fine same settings as xmp ? any one got any advice ive been using corsair ram for longer than i can remember never had trouble like this before found they are totally stable at 3800mhz but cant run at xmp 3200mhz . wondering if corsair have cut corners on newer products as the build quality seems poor heat spreaders lose etc. This product is starting to remind me of the very cheap poor quality ram. Tried a set of trident z which worked fine no problems so i believe motherboard is fine. any advice would be great full
  4. corsair replaced my kit of c-die which seem to be working wont oc as good as b die but they will oc mine are 3200mhz at 1.35 seem ok at 3800 cl 19-21-21-40 at 1.35
  5. unfortunately. i had a brill set of dominator rog ram that developed a fault and were replaced by garbage cmt32gx4m4c3200c16 ver 4.32 which are utter rubish. mine will ony run at 1066mhz xmp does not work managed to get them to run at 3000mhz but 19-23-23-45 with 1.5v im on intel x299. tested motherboard with a set of g.skill to ensure motherboard is ok and everything tested fine the g.skill was incredible does anyone now how to make corsair ram work properly please help rum mem tester for 10 min and had 30000 errors
  6. further resurch has confirmed they are indeed c die samsung but be warned i quote samsung these chips are not compatable with x99 style platform and are designed for low powerd laptops not above 1.2v very poor product 8Gbit Rev.C ("c-die") Characteristics: Negative scaling has been observed above 1.2V on ambient, but did 3466 18-20-20 (tested using a SODIMM + adapter by /u/brutuscat2). Full-size stick with four x16 ICs did DDR4-4500 at loose timings on intel, and booted nearly 4000 on ryzen 1K. Found on: Only OEM sticks so far. Platform preferences: Issues reported on X99. Seems to behave well on AMD, and Intel *lake. Recommended for: Probably pretty low-power, so laptops I guess? Lots of potential for frequency validation.
  7. dont get these what ever you do they say its a samsung but from resurch shows its a very poor quality chip possibly b die rejects that if your lucky will do advertised speed i had to pump over 1.55v to get mine to 3000mhz get the cl 14 version running at 3600mhz sad day death of dominator platinum rgb ver 4.32 worst on the market not everyone is only concerned with flashing lights
  8. has any one managed to oc ver4.32 as my current ram dosent want to play xmp wont work? so running at default speed 1033 with no errors? any help this is supposed to be a brand new pack of ram replaced as my rog kit failed :! tried a set of G.Skilll in it and worked fine so i now its not motherboard ive managed to get it to run at 3000mhz but it requires 1.5v can anyone help
