  1. Ye can confirm. Was going to wait till my next case maintenance, but I had nowt better to do, re-arranged the position of my Commander Pro so the GPU block cables would reach and they came on straight away after setting them up in iCUE, pump is still connected to a different RGB channel and still not working properly. As I mentioned earlier, I am not too fussed if the pump RGB doesn't work, it's directly in front of some RGB fans. Thanks for your testing! Hope Corsair give you a fix.
  2. Glad it's not just me this is happening too! I kinda given up messing with it, if it turns on it turns on, if not oh well :P I cannot change the order in which they connect to each other as the only cable that will reach the Commander Pro's is the pump one. I still have the issue, right now they are on, after an hour or two of the system being on they turned on. But yesterday with the system being on most of the day they didn't light up. It is super annoying the lights not working, but as long as the flow indicator on the GPU block is spinning (vertically mounted so I can see it) I am fine. I am slightly over my warranty period so I haven't bothered to contact Corsair, maybe I should? I dunno, I am not sure I wanna go through the hassle of draining my loop as I only replaced the fluid a couple of months ago. Edit: Next time I clean my cases filter's I will see if it's possible to bypass the pump, probably have to unstick the Commander Pros and reposition them, the pump not lighting up isn't really a big issue as its in front of some QL120's.
  3. Got a bit stranger over the last 2 days Oo Yesterday, the lights refused to come on at all, after trying to switch colours/mess with the lighting setup several times. Today they randomly turned on after an hour or so, went in to iCUE to change the colour of them and nothing happened, stayed the dark blue they were on....couple of hours later whilst playing Warframe they randomly changed to the colour I set in iCUE Oo! Also I noticed that when they refuse to turn on, the XD5 is half on, there is some light coming from the left side of the of the pump....so freaking weird....
  4. About a week ago I noticed that my XD5/GPU/CPU Blocks RGB would take a bit longer to turn on than usual. Sometimes up to 10minutes of the system being on. Today my system has been on for around 5 hours and they were still not turning on. I tried plugging them in to a different channel on my Commander Pro, and also plugging them in to my second Commander Pro and they were still not turning on. I just went in to iCUE and went through the channel setup, set it to No Device and back to the Hydro X set, went through a few different colours in the Lighting Link option and they just came on. Anyone else experienced this? I have had this setup for approx. a year now and as I mentioned this only recently started to happen. PS. I also noticed that after changing channel and going to the Lighting Setup my XD5 looked like it was almost working, the default rainbow vomit was happening, but only on my XD5 not the GPU/CPU blocks.
  5. All the connections connect to the pump, including the RGB ones, no need to buy a hub, u just need to install iCUE?
  6. When you say "Won't boot" do you mean no power at all? You might have the front panel power button plugged in to the wrong pins on the motherboard.
  7. Yep, that is why they can be split, some motherboards like yours require 8+4.
  8. I would of tried bridging pins on the 24pin connector to see if the PSU fan spins up. Before following the diagram please read everything and make sure to follow any safety steps, this might be to late as you have probably already posted the stuff to corsair. How to Jump a PSU
  9. You might want to look in to Manually setting the fan speeds within iCUE for your PSU. I know my 1600i never spins usually, it's major overkill for my system, so during warm periods of the year I manually set it to 40%. A quality PSU lasting a year is in no way the norm.
  10. Sorry for confusing the situation even more, didn't realise there was a 4th hub, I only knew of three therefore assumed it was the one you get in the triple fan packs, my bad :)
  11. Oh I see lol I only know of 3 Corsair hubs, Commander Pro, Node Core and Node Pro....didn't realise there was another one, my bad :p
  12. I had a similar problem when trying to use 2 Commander Pro's on my 2 Motherboard USB headers effectively doubling my USB headers but then my Corsair Node Core's were not being recognised within iCUE. I ended up having to use a "NZXT internal USB hub" and it all began to work. I have no idea why you mention using a channel on your Commander Pro for RGB? I have 10 x QL120's plugged in to 2 Node Core's and I am only using my Commander Pro's lighting channel 1 for my CPU/GPU/XD5 not for any fans. The lighting Node Core's are controlled by USB? Has my brain died and I can not remember using the lighting channels on my Commander Pro's? Oo No it has not! I am looking at a spare lighting Node Core I have in front of me, there is nowhere you could plug a 3 pin cable to go to a lighting channel on a Commander Pro!!!
  13. I am guessing the "corsair rgb fan led hub" is the Node Core? It's the USB device you get inside a 3x120mm RGB fan pack. It's a little box with 2 wires coming from it with 6 RGB inputs.
  14. 4 Channels? RGB fans don't use lighting channels on the commander pro, they just use a USB header. Well my 10 QL120's didn't need a channel just 2 Node Core's. But ye, I forgot u will need 1 Node Core per type of fan for iCUE oops Welcome to Corsair RGB! Although it does have some positives albeit confusing at times :D
  15. I am no expert, but I think you do not need the Node Pro. Your lighting strips just plug in to your Commander Pro with 6 of your PWM fans (you could grab 3 PWM splitters so all 9 will be controlled by it), and your 9 RGB fans plug in to your 2 Lighting Node Core's. Obviously you will need to hook up all SATA power connections and 3 USB 2.0 headers (Commander Pro has 2 headers though).
