  1. This could potentially explain why Kevin isn't experiencing the same issues when benching our "faulty" drives; Windows will automatically run optimize/trim once a new drive is detected. This setting is ON by default in any Windows 10 installation. I could be horribly wrong though, and Kevin should chime in on this and his test methodologies.
  2. Update from my end, Kevin: CDM is running as Admin, and I tried to disable/reenable write caching buffer, this has no effect. I then went to check my optimize/trim tool which user brian91292 suggested. It is set to trim the disk weekly, but hasn't done it in 27 days(?). I manually optimized the drive, and voilà, the MP600 advertised write speeds are back. Is this a trim issue in the Windows environment with the MP600 or what is going on?
  3. Thanks for checking in, Kevin. I'll wait for you to post your results before I decide to RMA my MP600 or not. It is my OS disk which makes it a hassle, but nothing that should take more than 1 hour of work.
  4. Check your current power-plan settings. Could be Windows sleep or hybrid sleep that messes with your drive. I know my MP600 got stuck when trying to wake up from sleep/hybrid sleep, and it took me 5-6 attempts to get my machine to boot. Also, make sure to update your MP600 firmware to EGFM 11.2 which could help.
  5. Thanks for checking in. I hope Corsair finds a remedy to this issue fairly soon, or customers are gonna jump ship. (get it?)
  6. In any case, here's my MP600 for reference. I really hope Corsair figures out why this is happening to so many people. Edit: I benched the MP600 in Atto, as user Seege suggested, and look what we have here! (Write speeds are on the LEFT mind you! Additionally, Windows task manager reports the real throughput to be about ~0.2GB/S higher than ATTO when speeds exceed 2GB/s or so.) Looks like CrystalDiskMark doesn't play ball particularly well with our x570 boards..? I then went back to CDM, and messed around with filesizes & passes. Turns out the results are very inconsistent in CDM. In one test, I get the advertised speeds(!)... And in the next SAME test I get 1GB write speeds. Lads, should we check the integrity and compatibility of our benchmarking tools instead, or are these fluctuating results caused by the drive itself?
  7. Did you try the latest BIOS yet? I'm tempted to wait just a little bit. My guess is that this is a BIOS or chipset related issue after reading the posts here.
  8. Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) BIOS v1001 CPU: Ryzen 9 3900X Memory brand: G.Skill Memory model: Trident Z Neo Memory capacity: 32GB Memory speed: 3600Mhz CL14 Fabric 1:1 BIOS Version: v1001 Windows Build and Version: Windows 10 Pro 1903 MP600 capacity: 1TB MP600 serial number (a photo of the sticker would be great): Don't really wanna share this openly MP600 Firmware Version: EGFM11.2 Using drive as OS or storage? OS Which M.2 slot? First slot Stock heatsink on MP600? Stock I am experiencing 1GB write speeds, more or less spot on with the other posters here. Updated chipset drivers, tested before and after - no difference Tested EGFM11.1 and EGFM11.2 - No difference Power plans - No difference The only thing I can think of doing now before RMA is updating my C8HW to BIOS v1105 which includes the rather significant AM4 combo PI 1.0.0.4 patch B.
