We have done a lot of spotlights on system builds and the creativity never ceases to amaze us. However, some enthusiasts don't stop with the creativity and expand it to their work space. George Atchison is one such user who was willing to share with us his amazing gaming/work area:
One of the things that struck me right away George shared his photos was how clean and organized everything was arranged. That Corsair Carbide Air 540 on the desk looked especially sweet and definitely fit in with everything.
This shot is one of my favorites as his lighting scheme in the 540 looks amazing with the K70 Red and M60 mouse. Here some more close-ups:
I asked George some questions to get an idea of what he was inspired by, and where the furniture came from:
1.) What influenced your office layout?
A lot of my layout really caters to my gaming needs, but also the days I am working from home. I need a good layout to spread my work out, but at the same time an area to kick back after getting home and enjoy some long gaming sessions.
2.) What kind of furniture do you use?
The company is called Rivers Edge. They specialize is mostly corporate furniture for offices.
3.) Any plans for improvements in the future?
Absolutely, I am always looking for ways to improve my gaming rig. A new GPU to replace my GTX680 is probably the next thing I am looking to upgrade. Overall, I am happy with the way things are right now!
As a bonus, George shared some of his pictures of a different setup on Reddit. Here are some extra shots from that of what his LIVING ROOM setup is like:
Is SteamOS going to be the future, and is this just a preview of what new workstations may look?
If anyone else has questions, feel free to post it here and if George has the time, he can chime in now and then to help!
If you also have your own office setups you'd like to share, we'd love to see them! You can send them to us over Facebook! Happy gaming!
