Gamer78
Hello, i've a new Corsair HX1000i psu. The psu has a buzz and an electrical sound. When the compuer is in idle mode this noise appear sometimes and it's very low. During gaming it becomes very high. I tried to follow the guide in the thread "Noisy PSU? Read this first" but i had no result. I also tried to disable the cpu power saving mode features in the bios (C1E , EIST). Did you know if with X99 there are other power saving features that i can disable? Thank you.
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted December 1, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 1, 2014 The PSU must be defective. Nothing harmful will happen to the PC or PSU, but if the noise bothers you, you should do an RMA.

Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted January 8, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 8, 2015 You should ask the tech support guys that question. When you open up your support ticket, you'll have a chance to ask that.
