You are trying to run a 6G SSD over a device that only has 5G to give. You are not alone though, many people are going to have an issue since several motherboard companies did the same thing with their X58 chipset motherboards. My GIGABYTE X58A-UD7 does the same thing but its built onboard and not a removable card.

The 128GB drive is only rated at 210MB/s write in ATTO so you are really only losing around 10MB/s. You aren't going to notice this in real world use. Just plug it in and use it. The true test of an SSD doesn't come from benchmark numbers but how the drive feels when using it in your system.

Nice system BTW, I'm building something like it right now.

Chris, thanks for the info on that card!

stack cheese, my thoughts:

1. I'll poke the webmaster :)

2. This one I take it? http://www.corsair.com/support/faq/solid-state-drives
If you have any suggestions I'll poke some other people :)

3. http://www.corsair.com/company/aboutus/ (1-http://www.corsair.com/us/company/contact/)

4. They prefer it all to go through their website's forms.
For CS: http://www.corsair.com/customcontact/customerservice/
You're already aware of the tech support one.
OR: customerservice@corsair.com / ramguy@corsair.com

5. Hrm, didn't know the SSD one was so spare. The memory one is more comprehensive.

6. Ram Guy's on here all the time, and Yellowbeard's here occasionally (he hits up 20+ other forums a day). Having said that, the forum isn't meant to be the primary support tool, but it is pretty handy!

Synbios, re: # 5, if you go through the TSX menu, there's not much to it. Just "did any of these help?", if no, RMA form time.

It looks like I cleared up the issue. I started a new thread with the resolution.

Even with 5gbt of the PCIe, that is still more than enough bandwidth for this drive. 5gbt = 625MB.
Seems like the drive is able to reach and sometimes even PASS the rated speeds in the larger data test. It's the lower ones that confuses me. I'm starting to point the finger towards the Controllers and not the drive. PS. I posted a few more ATTO Test on another thread. I changed out the Rosewill and dropped in a Syba PEX40032. Same controller plus RAID. Pretty spot on same scores as the Rosewill.
