After e-mailing with my contact address to get the bracket this is the e-mail I get today ?

The first shipment of 1156 brackets have sold out, however there will be more available soon and you can leave your email address to receive a message once they are back in stock.

Not exactly the reply I expected :(

Will it be back in stock soon as I am very close to hitting the buy button on another cooler now and stick the H50 on e-bay ?

Well, i guess it's FIFO in action... and it's correct. At least you know where you stand, although that's not what we all like to ear ... will this stock be enough for the previously emails sent?
Please, inform us if we are being supplied or not.

Novaknab, If our customer service dept requires additional information such as payment info, then you will get an email requesting it.

If you sent an email to Ramguy and did not get a reply yet, then your request was received and you are first in line to get the bracket. All of the requests sent to Ramguy will be processed by hand and I have gotten word that it will take at least 3 days to get them all processed. You can expect to get a confirmation email before the end of the week if your bracket is being shipped.

So, let me see if I've got this right...

If you haven't heard anything by email, then assume that you're in the first batch of 1156 bracket requests, and all is going well?

If you have an email then it's because there's an issue and they've run out of stock of brackets again so you probably won't get your bracket in the first batch.

However, if you've not heard anything, and are therefore assuming that all is well, then don't you go worrying that your (group 2, there's a problem) email is lost in transit, or caught in your spam filter.. It'll be allright.

What total confusion! Corsair, email people now, if they submitted their requests soon enough to be in line for a 1156 bracket in the first wave. Then, if people don't get an email then they know that either the email didn't get through or there's a problem, in which case they can act upon it.

It's nice to see that the end of this fiasco is unfolding with the same level of disorganised mayhem that we have become accustomed to. For God's sake give it a rest and help us out here.

God Shilbo

I am glad i am not the only that is confused ************** Yellowbeard, Wired and RAMGUY you guys asked us for patient and understanding but all I see is confusion thrown out there to us the consumer with the hope we can sort it out.

I will still hold my breath and wait until the 31st and hope that my bracket shows up somehow..

If not is there a way I can return the unit to Corsair for a refund seeing that I went beyond the normal exchange period from New Egg..

This is because we reserved enough brackets in the first batch to take care of the people that have preordered. We are taking care of you, first come, first served.

Ok, thanks. I just assumed I would get one and got a bit disappointed as I looked forward to getting my 2nd system up and running with the H50.

I'm with Mac365 on this one.

My problem is that we, the EARLY TAKE-UP CUSTOMERS, don't now know if we're registered as pre-ordered or not!

I am SO close to selling this paperweight on eBay, too, and taking up a mission to warn any potential customers as to what they are getting into, in buying items from Corsair. I just cannot believe what we are being put through as punishment for buying from this company! Totally shocking and appalling, to be honest.

For goodness' sake, Corsair, send out an email NOW to all those likely to receive their 1156 bracket this week. Don't reply to me, don't argue, don't post another garbled excuse.... Just email those that are in "group 1". Ram Guy has a list of the email addresses cos he's been collecting them for days now. Just let us know!

And for your consideration for the future....

1) What on Earth is this pirate/yellowbeard/corsair/privateer theme all about? The privateer was a corporate-sponsored pirate who robbed honest people of their money. You may want to re-think the theme there, in light of this ridiculousness.

2) You had a bracket that fitted the 1156 chipset weeks ago, and you issued it in the "-1 part number" H50 kits to get them out of the doors and fulfil your obligation to 1156 compatibility. However, you combined the 1156 and 1366 compatability into one bracket (the new bracket has holes for both) because it was cheaper to issue a 1156/1366 bracket. Why include a 1156 and a 1366 bracket in a H50 box when you could include a 1156/1366 dual purpose bracket for the same price (thus saving the price of a bracket). If this is the case, that you issued H50 with the solo 1156 brackets whilst you manufactured the new dual format brackets, then you should be ashamed.

3) When Yellowbeard says "We are taking care of you" in his prior comment, he better listen carefully because there's not many previously-loyal customers beliving him.

You should get a confirmation email that your request was accepted by the end of the day today.

If you sent an email directly to Ramguy before the bracket was listed on the online store, then you are first in line to receive the bracket.

It's a funny old world. As soon as I posted the previous comment, I received an email from Ram Guy....

Dear Valued Customer,

Your request for the 1156 bracket for the CWCH50 has been received and is being processed. You should receive a confirmation email once the bracket is shipped. If you have any questions or if you would like to check the status of the your request please contact our customer service at rmaservice@corsairmemory.com.

Thank You!
Ram Guy
Corsair Memory Inc.

And then another email from someone at Corsair I've never heard of....

Hi there,

Your request for the 1156 bracket for the CWCH50 has been received and is being processed. You should receive a confirmation email once the bracket is shipped. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Well, it's not an email saying my 1156 bracket is on its way.... but it's at least an acknowledgment from Corsair that I do exist. It's a start ;-)

Ram Guy

Nice to know however if I do not recieve a reply by your stated "end of day" then I am to assume that i am in the group two that has to wait for the re-supply of brackets?

Is there anyway that we can e-mail someone that can tell us what group we are in? I really don't like the word "assume", I can tell you what it means but I will probably get edited and or banned

God in watching this thing unfold I keep hearing the theme from the "Three Stooges"

This situation certainly didn't start out well. But I have to say, I think this is an honest and service-oriented response. I received a "confirmation" e-mail today.

Thank you.
