Question: h110 pump

What is the "normal" "rpm" for the h110 pump, or does it vary with temps like a fan would?

Have had an h60 and the pump "RPM" was showing 4500

the new h110 that I recently purchased is showing only about ~1300 "rpm"

That should be correct. They are different pumps and run at different speeds. I believe the pump should run at 1500RPM give or take.

 

Is it not cooling correctly? Or are you just concerned over the difference in RPM's?

I can confirm it should be 1500rpm. I use the "pwr" fan header for it on my Asus board because it can't be controlled, it always supplies 100% power.

@peanutz94, I was just concerned with the RPM differences, the cooling so far is up to my expectations :)

 

I've also put it on "duty mode" and increased it to 90% it runs at about 1400~ RPM atm. I don't know if that will make a difference in cooling but atleast it will be closer to its max

In the two rigs I've had H100's, the pump rpm always between 1800 to 2200 rpm.

Are you guys talking about the H100i maybe, or has corsair undervolted all their newer models to avoid pump noise perhaps?

My H110 pump runs at a steady 1500. Works well and I recommend it.
