Default Cmx8gx3m1a1333c9

Hi,
I have the 8GB Modules CMX8GX3M1A1333C9 and Intel Core i5 2380P and mainboard ASUS P8H77-M but those memory modules are not working in this mainboard :-(
I need to build system with 32GB memory (4x8GB) and local supplier does not have any other modules. Can I you please advise me mainboard (preferably Asus, or Gigabyte) that would fit those memory modules and cpu ? I dont need to overclock, just build system with 32GB memory and core I5 2380P
Thanks a lot !

Whats not working?

Have you tested the modules with Memtest86+?

And have you tried updating the BIOS and clearing the CMOS before installing the modules?

Also what are the exact settings you are using for the memory. There is no sense buying another board if the memory is at fault in the first place. Better to do some more testing first.

BTW, it's just about impossible to match a MB to memory . Better to pick a board and see if the modules appear in the compatibility list.

I just noticed you said you are using 4 individual modules...
Corsair does not suggest or support mixing memory like this. Two sets of the exact same memory can cause issues with each other let alone 4 single modules that were not packaged together.

I have another use for ASUS P8H77-M mainboard, but no other use for those 8GB memory.
The system stops in POST, AMI BIOS signals memory problem beeping long 3x short.
I dont have any mainboard that could fit those memory modules, neither I do have any other memory modules that could fit this mainboard :-( I checked corsair memory compatibility for this mainboard and those are not listed, so I suppose the memory is not compatible with mainboard.
This is why I want to buy new motherboard to use 4x8GB memory modules in it.
