Problem with RAID 0 CSSD-F120GB3-BK
Hello guys
My PC (with RAID 0) was working fine till april-2012, when I got the bad idea to "reinstall my OS". So, after 2 days that I did this, my RAID 0 started getting problems. After some hours using the PC, it crashes and show the message "RAID Status Failed". If I turn off PC for about 5 minutes and then turned it on again. It doesn't show "RAID Failed" so I can use the computer. After some hours using same problem again.
I have no idea why after a OS install my RAID started get problems.
To solve my problem I tried those steps:
1. Reinstall my OS, deletting and creating again the RAID (I did 3 times)
2. Change the power cable
3. Change the sata cable
4. Use new sata slots in the motherboard (If I was using slot1 and slot2, tried slot3 and slot4)
Those steps didn't solve the problem. So, I understood that is not a problem with the power cables, it's not a problem with the sata cables and it's not a problem with the motherboard sata slots. So it could be a problem with the SSD itself? I tried use the SSD1 (only it connected) with the SO for about 2 weeks, didn't crash. I tried use the SSD2 (only it connected) with the SO for about 2 weeks, didn't crash either.
So it's not a problem with my SSDs because they are working perfectly. What could be? A bios config wrongly? Am I creating a RAID 0 wrongly? Why my system is crashing and getting the message "RAID Failed"?
Please someone helps. Thank you.

Have you tried secure erasing both SSDs using Parted Magic?
Note that this will permanently delete all data on both SSDs it will also remove your RAID Array.
After the secure erase, Restart, build a new RAID array and install Windows.
Tutorial is here
http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=85344
If you want to update the SSDs to 5.02
Plug the SSDs into a different computer with AHCI enabled, Then follow the instructions on the .PDF.
1. F3_502.zip has the firmware update files for the SSD, You have a 120GB SSD so open the 120GB folder and select the correct file.
3. Refer to your motherboard's user manual for instructions on updating BIOS.

Update
I did secure erase in my SSDs but I had some troubles. I couldn't use the default option because it was not working, if I click with the mouse it doesn't do anything. So I used option 4 "Alternative Graphical server". I got that error saying "SSD is froozen", so I enabled Hot Plug, turnned the PC on without the SSD sata connected, and after I did connect and secure erase.
The secure erase was complete in just 1 second. Is this right? I thought would take more than 30 minutes.
Anyway, I am creating the RAID 0 now and see if it works.

An SSD secure erase is around 1-5 seconds. Yes, 1 Second is normal.

It is beginning to sound like some other issue, have you tried just installing Windows on the drives in AHCI mode to see if they both work with out problems? And have you tried swapping the cables and or ports you have them connected to?

yeah. I tried everything you said. Changed sata cables/power cables, motherboard sata slots.
I also tried run the SSD in AHCI mode. I installed just one with the OS. No crashs in 2 weeks. Then I did the same with the other same, didn't crash either.
The SSDs/cables/motherboard slots are OK without problems.
Secure erase, update Intel Raid drive, didn't solve.
I did update my bios and firmware yesterday. Waiting if will crash.

I did update the Bios and Firmware last saturday. Till now no crashes. I think the problem is gone because it's 3 days without crashes and when I had the problem, i was crashing 5~10 hours.
Thank you guys for the help. Now my Raid is just fine.
