That is all we can change the only way to change it would be to delete the thread and recreate it. And I am sorry but that is too much work...

RMA UPDATE:

My new H100 arrived few moments ago and guess what... still with noisy pump but alot quieter than the pulled one.

tapping the pump block sometimes eliminates the pump resonance but it comes back on it`s own.

Seems the aggressive screening process is useless !!

so i am the proud? user of changing the 7th h100 and still same pump issue.

6 h100`s exchanged with the store and 1 RMA with corsair

what to do now? another rma for me is another fail 99.9%

You will need to let the Pump run for a few days they will be noisy at first that is normal!

This is the first time i am hearing this... seems the pump needs some sort of "running in" like new car engines.

If i flip the case the pump resonance increases and is very audible contrary if i flip the case on it`s side the pump is noise free

Well if you are so sure that the noise will go by itself i hope so as i won`t rma again

anyway my old h100 is getting ready to return to holland :)

It would be best to call them by phone and it does take a day or two to provide the shipping label. I will send them a message but that is about all I can do.

thank you for the help i already sent them an email

regarding my new h100 it is still grinding here! i am 100% sure it is not trapped air!

And why the pump needs days to settle (if it settles)? it seems the ceramic bearing making the noise again...i really hope and pray to god that this noise will go away once and for all in the coming days if not this is another bad h100 this time sent from you directly

Customer Service reply 7/13/2012

Dear ********,

We apologize for the inconvenience.

We’ve contacted UPS to request a call tag. Unfortunately, we are unable to create a shipping label for Europe customers. UPS will contact you to arrange a pick up.

You will not pay for the shipping. We will try our best to arrange this with UPS.

If you have any question just let us know.

Thank you and have a great day!

Best Regards,
Customer Service Group

RMA UPDATE: (7/16/2012)

2 boxes arrived from UPS!

Received today the 2nd h100 (Lot # 12279403) and this one is totally silent!!

Also recevied a new corsair vengeance 1100 gaming headset as a gift!! I was really pleased and surprised... thank you corsair!!

I noticed 2 things when i unboxed the h100...

The Lot # sticker changed abit and there was more TIM applied (larger grey square) to the cpu/pump block.

New sticker... good silent h100

Old sticker... bad noisy pump

@RAM GUY

what do you think on my findings? do you agree? only the label changed same box. users can look at the label to see if they have a good/bad unit.

I had to replace 6 h100`s with my local store and 2 rma`s with corsair but now the nightmare is over and i am enjoying my new silent h100....ahhh silence is golden!

thank you corsair for your amazing RMA service and super fast shipping with UPS! it was a nice experience and also wish to thank Joann for taking care of my RMA. I am still loyal to corsair and will never stop buying your products!

Corsair = FTW!!!

No that may not be important at this time. I have no information to confirm or deny it.
Just enjoy your system and I would not be concerned.

I have a question ...

my h100 has 2year warranty with my local store...

I noticed that when i requested my first rma a week ago Customer Service did not asked for my creditcard.

So my rma was not an advanced rma and you promptly sent me a replacement.

AFAIK you need my creditcard to place a hold on it in case i don`t return my faulty unit

also i did not provided my original proof of purchase during rma..so how the 5year warranty on the h100 works?
