Nerrad33
I purchased the Scimitar Pro RGB, I create a profile for a game link to the executable for the game get into the game, it doesn't work. Press the keys, nothing. I want the map to move forward in Napoleon: Total War, so I create an "Action", the keystroke W, assign it button number 2, and so on for the four directions. As I said before, I assigned to Napoleon.exe, I start the game, nothing. Is the profile downloaded to the mouse? Does it need to be downloaded to the device? How would I know if the profile is active? I should be given some indication that something is happening. I used, (and most likely continue to use) a Logitech G600. Quite frankly, the software is much easier to use, you can manually select the profile you wish to use and IT WORKS! Maybe I'm doing something wrong. If I am please help, I'm at my wits end.:[pouts:
Toasted
Double check the executable path. Run the game, open Task Manager, find the game in the process list, right click and click Open File Location. Does Profile switch work fine on other applications? e.g. Web Browsers, Explorer, Notepad, etc.
Nerrad33
Nope the dog don't hunt. I'm no neophyte the path to the executable is correct. There are so many problems with this software it's mine boggling. This is what I programed in the profile MACRO NAME - MAP FORWARD KEYPRESS W. In the game I press the 2 key I have that macro mapped to, nothing happens. How do I know what profile is active? There is indication as to what profile is active. Why can't I lock the profile I want to use. Here's what should happen, who ever created this crappy software should look Logitech G software. That is easy to use, that lets you lock a profile, to the mouse so there no doubt what profile is active. Now maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. What I know is wrong, is the way this software operates.
