DanielVF
Does it fit the ASUS Z270-A motherboard? Also, I got GTX 1060gb Will it be enough?
Corsair Mike
Hi DanielVF, I would need a full parts list to tell you accurately. If you put your parts into a resource like PC Part Picker it will give you an accurate estimate of your power requirements.
DanielVF
I don't really have an idea, I can tell you my built is, an ASUS motherboard Z-270A Intel Core I7 7700k CPU ASUS GTX 1060 OC 6GB 8GB Kingstone 2.3mhz ram, upgrading to Corsair 2x8 16gb 3.2mhz Some cheap CPU cooler Very cheap Antec 450W PSU. So i'm planning either buying the HX 750 or RM550x Would they fit my GPU, CPU and motherboard? If yes, which one do you recommend, mainly for gaming and noise. P.S, overall my power consumption is probably around ~400, so I believe a 550 or 750 is enough. However I will probably buy a newer GPU someday, but the 550 and 750W won't be a bit overload for the rig? If they fit the spec above. wouldn't it risk the lifespan of the machine or something? DevBiker
If those are your components, your power consumption won't be quite that high. The 550 would suffice; the 750 would be a better choice for noise, heat, and room to grow and expand. It's also a more efficient PSU. And yes, both will work with your components.
