UpGrade01
Hey Guys/Gals, This may sound like a silly question but should OCP be disabled or enable in corsair link? I'm assuming it is dependent upon what the system is being used for, maybe. Currently, when I launch corsair link all OCP is disabled. Are there any risks to having it enable verses disable or is purely preference? Thank
risk_reversal
I am sure that the mods will also have a look at your thread tomorrow but in the interim http://www.corsair.com/en-us/blog/2014/may/setting-up-ocp-on-the-ax1500i Third para. OCP, Over Current Protection. Safety feature. Unless you are o/cing you system then I would have it enabled on all connectors. The current level used for OCP should be referenced with your psu. Good Luck
Corsair Mike
Hi UpGrade01, For normal use OCP should be enabled. Over Current Protection is a safety feature that should be left on unless you plan to do some extreme overclocking.
