John94
Hi guys, I've just build a new rig with an 9900k, which is really thirsty. My board is an ASUS ROG Z390 E-Gaming. My PSU is a Corsair Rm750i. The board needs an 8 pin EATX12V connector. The PSU only comes with a EPS/ATX12V 8 pin (4+4) connector. What are the differences and how do I plug a 8pin in the board now? DevBiker
They are the same; the only difference is in the nomenclature. You plug it in the same way that it's always been plugged in.
Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted November 29, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 29, 2018 Yup, that's the cable you'll need to connect. The name can slightly vary, but that's the one you'll want to power the CPU.
