Default 4th ll fan not lighting up

My brother bought the full set 3 LLs and commander plus a 4th fan but the 4th fan doesnt wana light up but the pwm side is working fine.
EDIT: ive tried having only that fan in and it doesnt light up. bad fan?

First, did you add the fan in iCUE? (They aren't automatically detected).

When you tried it alone, was it in fan hub port #1? If so, then yeah, likely a bad fan.

yeah i have it set to 4 fans and the fan set to port 1 but the odd part was that we plugged it into the aorus sync and it lit up but only very lightly though

You plugged it into the 4-pin Aorus sync header?
If so, then it is 100% definitely dead.
