Violation
Hi i have searched around and even on this website: http://www.overclock.net/t/1412916/corsair-h80-on-socket-1150 they say that you can fit it on as the 1155 and the 1150 socket mounting are the exact same, so is it possible? as I don't want to buy another fan to be honest i love this one and i can not change my socket obviously lol

EJSEJS
The 1150 mounting socket is identical to that of 1155, So I do not see why it would not fit.
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted January 7, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 7, 2014 It absolutely will fit. The 1150 socket uses the exact same mounting as the 1155 and 1156 sockets.

snapper69
I removed my H110i GT from an 1155 board and mounted it straight onto a Skylake 1150 board, I didn't have to change a thing, so yes it will fit.
