ratzfatz Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 where i can get old corsair-sticks wich run with win 98?? i have extremly important software with hardware on win98-machines (thats the reason) and need some old usb-sticks wich will work with windows 98. i self have only one, but i need more .. and new sticks doesn't work have someone old sticks ? perhaps corsair self? please help - its very important! Synthohol Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 you may need to create a few 2 Gb partitions on a stick and format them with fat32 to be used with w98. normally i dont recommend partitioning out a USB stick but in this case you may have no choice. im 98% (no pun intended) sure that is the issue. 98 cannot see ntfs which is likely the problem. ratzfatz Posted March 4, 2012 Author Share Posted March 4, 2012 thanks .. ntfs no way .. but i have a survivor 16GB from about 1997 and with this i have no problems (16GB works) .. then i will try with your tipp the newer ones (2011) - the usb-driver was installed, but i don't saw the drive - perhaps with 2GB-partitions - but it would me very surprising .. it would be the simplest to get a older corsair-stick (this works 100%) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
