joethebuilder
I recently upgraded my gaming rig including a Force MP500 480GB as my C drive. I used a Windows 8.1 Pro disk to install Windows and then ran the update to Windows 10. Was there anything special I should have done or settings to check in BIOS to ensure it's operating at its max potential? I've found NVME Windows 10 guides specific to Samsung NVME drives online but nothing for the MP500. Thanks for any advice.
Toasted
Run a benchmark and compare it to the advertised specifications on the MP500's product page. If the results are within spec, Then you won't really need to change anything.
joethebuilder
I'm only getting around 2000 MB/s reads and 1500 MB/s writes using CrystalDiskMark 5.2.1. Similar results with SiSoft Sandra. It seems like I'm not getting advertised speeds.
Toasted
Corsair used 5.1.2, You can download it from below; https://osdn.net/projects/crystaldiskmark/releases/65730 You will also want to make sure all background processes are closed before running the test, e.g. Browsers, Antivirus software, Word processors, Game launchers, etc. If you still do not get similar results, It may be a UEFI setting or something else that needs to be changed. Put in a support ticket with Corsair and see whether or not they can help. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
