Bartiemus
Hello I have an issue where my motherboard only has one internal USB header however all of Corsairs devices require a USB plug to use a the link function. With the Commander Pro I can split it into two but I am still short. I have 860AXI Power Supply H115i All in one cooler Commander Pro Fan Controller for the HD RGB Fans If I use an internal USB hub am I going to have any power issues with it? red-ray
The CLCP (Commander Pro) has two USB headers so the AX860i + H115i can be connected to those and the CLCP to the one motherboard header. See http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=759585 if you don't have enough motherboard USB 2.0 headers.
anhphuongvu
Another suggestion is to get a Mini USB to USB. Connect the Mini USB to the Corsair product and the other end to the IO USBport on the back of the motherboard. It might not look good but it's the only other way when you don't have enough USB headers.
Corsair Employee Corsair Dustin Posted August 18, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 18, 2017 You should be able to do the following: Plug the Commander Pro into your internal USB header. Plug your AX860i and H115i into the Commander Pro's USB headers. As for the HD RGB fan controller, I'm a bit confused. Are you talking about the six port fan hub? Or are you using a Lighting Node PRO? Hello I have an issue where my motherboard only has one internal USB header however all of Corsairs devices require a USB plug to use a the link function. Bartiemus
I plan to route everything through the commander pro. I dont plan to use the lighting node so will the commander pro give me enough usb ports to do that?

HD RGB fan controller to LED1 on Commander Pro (RGB fan controller is SATA powered) You could also control the fan speeds via the CP
Ljugtomten
If more USB 2.0 headers are needed, I can recommend this: https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub I use it on my ASUS Zenith Extreme, as it has only one USB2.0 header but I needed 3 of them. It is powered from a molex connector.
snapper69
I have one of these, plus one of the older ones, which doesn't have the case on it, and they both work well.
