comatosed
Im a first-time SSD user and Im getting some funny results when Im running my disk through ATTO and AS SSD. Could you guys have a look and see what you think? http://i.imgur.com/Ym8I4.png http://i.imgur.com/NlYJ2.png The AS SSD score changes quite abit every time I run the test. http://i.imgur.com/SZTmW.png
Wired
ATTO looks fine for the Force GT 120 GB: Max Sequential Read/Write (using ATTO Disk Benchmark): 555 MB/s sequential read — 515 MB/s sequential write
comatosed
But how come there so much difference every time i run AS SSD. and mostly it drops in points for every run i do.
Toasted
AS SSD uses incompressible data and ATTO uses compressible.
Yellowbeard
But how come there so much difference every time i run AS SSD. and mostly it drops in points for every run i do. Also, the more blocks an SSD has that are in an used stated, the slower it runs. And, AS-SSD writes a HUGE amount of data to a disk when you test. So, you are diminishing your performance everytime you run this test by placing more and more of the drive in an used state. Your ATTO results are fine. Stop benching and just enjoy the drive. BigRat
Here is my result. Corsair Force GT 120 on Asus Sabretooth X58 connected to SATA 6Gb (Marvell99xx) with newest Asus SATA 6Gb driver installed. I am not disapointed coz the read speeds are fine, and mostlly, when dysk is set as system dysk, we more offen read it than write... so its OK. Ofc I would like to have full speed to write and read... but we all knows the Marvel chipset  I have a question. Can somebody knows a fine SATA 6GB card on PCI?, PCIex? bootable? http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/2470/atto28012010corsair120g.jpg
