Fredinhidef
I have 2 PCI-E cables each with are 16 pin 2(8+8) and I must say they look hideous. Originally I accidentally bought the Type 4 kit cables and those looked very clean and I was happy with those. But, when I got the type 3 the clip is on the wrong side so when I flip the cable it has this weird curve to it and no matter which side I put the shorter 8+8 it seems to still look ugly. (PICTURES ATTACHED) Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?
Zotty
those are not genuine Corsair Cables are they?... i see what you are getting it.. Personally i am not a fan of running pig tailed cables. each 8 (or 6) pin with its own direct connection to the PSU is the way forward imho.... And yeah, they aren't ideal. Unfortunately, those are the ones that Corsair supplies. :(
Fredinhidef
I understand they have type 4 for different connectivity reasons, but to build/design them in a way that makes them not look clean is crazy...thats the whole point in buying these cables, to maker it LOOK nicer. Hopefully they can fix this in the future...thanks though.
