Corsair Custom Sleeved Cables..

Since that's not a Corsair product, it's hard to say what they actually work with. But the AX cables typically ARE DIFFERENT than the other Corsair cables.

The AX650/750/850 "Gold" PSUs have their own pin out. The AX760/860 Platinum are the same as AXi except for the 24-pin.

Is there some kind of a pin out diagram showing the difference between the AX and AXi series connectors? I have an AX1200 with custom cables (custom in both sleeve color and length). Lookin at updating my PSU, but would like to not have to re-sleeve all of the cables if possible. But if all it takes is switching a few pins, I'm fine with that. Thanks.

Updating your PSU to what?

The AX1200 uses a Type 3 cable for the 24-pin, but all of the other connectors are unique to the AX1200.

If you get an AXi, you'll need to switch out all of the cables. The 8-pins are pretty easy, though, since the polarity is just switched.

Type 3 (AXi, HXi and RM):

I have a CS450M which uses the same type 3, but it has fixed 2x12 and EPS12V cables which is fine as all rigs need them.

So my PSU has 3 of the peripheral power and only 1 of the PCI Express plugs.

Is that a question or a statement?

Thanks for providing this! Looking to upgrade to a HX1200i.
