tecvin
Hi all, I am installing my hx750i powersupply. I am concerned about the way the ATX Cable (24-PIN) fits into the PSU compared to the SATA cable. Attached is a pic comparing the fit into their respective sockets. Is this problematic? The ATX Cable (24-PIN) fit feels sturdy but doesn't appear to be. thanks in advance for any advice you might have
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted February 19, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 19, 2015 Wiggle those wires and get those connectors snapped in all the way. That's going to cause a problem in the future if you don't.
tecvin
thanks a lot for your reply. Wiggling the wires helped quite a bit and they are nearly flush. Would you say that the components are tough enough for me to put more effort into fitting them flush against their socket? Not very familiar with the fragility of computer components so I am proceeding with caution. What do you guys think?
