JonesL
Hello, I am unable to understand why two mice have resulted in my PSU making a high pitched noise, everytime I move the cursor across the screen and also another thing is that everytime it makes that noise the fan moves very slightly The noise doesn't happen when the fan is spinning normally, anyway to force the fan to constantly spin? What's the problem now? seriously this is my third PSU too
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted October 2, 2014 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 2, 2014 Not the PSU. Bad ground. PSU to chassis grounding issue, motherboard to chassis grounding issue, Earth ground in outlet issue.... take your pick.
Nomrod
Google Translate. Quickly you deleted my comment that the problem is not in the ground. Fan defective. Again, I replaced the fan and now all is quiet.
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted February 23, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted February 23, 2015 Nomrod, This isn't your thread. If your PSU had a sound related to the fan, I'm glad you figured that out. But that's not the OP's problem. He only gets the noise when he moves his mouse. You're thread-jacking. Nomrod
Google Translator. I had the same thing. Noise during the movement of the mouse. Possible interference from mouse movements on the standby power supply affect fan speed regulation scheme. As a result, he "twitches" and vibrates. If interested I can post the video.
