Cathgar
I'm on my second Corsair Gaming K95 MX Red Mechanical keyboard in 3 weeks. The first had 6 LEDs die within a few days, so RMA to retailer and received the replacement yesterday. This morning I have 2 dead LEDs. This is not a cheap keyboard and why has Corsair not pulled these from sale until the problem is fixed? Should I RMA for a new replacement or get a store credit as it seems this is going to be an ongoing issue with these keyboards. Love the keyboard due to the macro keys, does the RGB version have as many problems?
SwaginWagon101
I have the k70 rgb and currently i have a problem with one of my leds. This isn't as big of a problem, because each key has 3 leds (RGB) and my red led went for no reason... I haven't seen to many people have this issue though. Toasted
No, the RGB keyboard L.E.Ds will be less prone to dying as they are mounted under the switch while the non RGB keyboards are prone to dying due to static discharge.
Cathgar
Thanks, might as well get a store credit and try the RGB model and hope for the best.
