TheSwede86
Hi! Wondering if A) 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance SO-DIMM memory either 1600 or 1866mhz will work on the latest (mid-2012) standard configuration of the 13" MacBook Pro? B) Can it handle 1866mhz, meaning I will get performance gains if I use 1866mhz modules or will it just clock itself down to 1600mhz? Synthohol
Corsair makes memory specifically for Macs, http://www.corsair.com/en/memory/mac-memory-upgrades.html anything else is a crapshoot and likely will not be supported.

It should downclock to 1600mhz. Unless the MBP has the BIOS settings that would allow you to set the frequency any higher. I do not know for sure if the new ones do or not. The old ones didn't
