peanutz94
You need to enable the XMP profie in your BIOS. Please refer to your owners manual for your board as to where that setting is located. When you first install the modules they default to 1333mhz until XMP is set to let them run at rated speeds. Just keep in mind that frequencies that high are highly CPU dependant and not all CPU's will be able to overclock memory to 2133mhz. If you find it is not stable at that frequency, try the next lowest SPD grade(1866) XMP should be in the AITweaker tab in your BIOS. As far as loading the OS goes, try just one module and see if it will let you load the OS that way. [edit] Thinking a little further, you might try another hard drive or SSD to load your OS to. It may be a problem with that instead of RAM,which i believe is your problem. Just did not have the frequency set right.
batreky
It's already New PC just Lunched and the Primary already an SAMSUNG 128GB SSD and Windows installation needed So that's Happened to me Freezing & memory reading @1333 not 2133. batreky
Okay, so is this solved then? Sorry, i don't quite understand your last post. Right I just Enable the XMP Profile and now Rams @ 2133 readable but the CPU temp moved to 40 Degree, Also still the windows not installing, frozen on the Language Step, No access to mouse & Keyboard
peanutz94
The rise in CPU temps is normal. Your running a pretty hefty memory overclock. And since the memory controller is located in the CPU, it's going to add heat! You may want to invest in a good aftermarket cooler to drop your temps some. Especially if you plan on trying to overclock the CPU. Also still the windows not installing, frozen on the Language Step, No access to mouse & Keyboard As far as the OS not loading, I really don't think it is a RAM issue. Thats why i suggested try another hard drive. New doesn't mean functional. Maybe try secure erasing the SSD and try again. You can test the RAM with memtest to be sure it's not failing. Test each stick individually so you can pick out a bad stick pretty easy. Memtest runs from a bootable USB, no need for an OS to test the RAM. How are you navigating the BIOS then? I'll see that and got some answers from friends to update the BIOS to last Version and I'll also try about SSD or Installing to the Black Caviar One also new Updates : Note : Bios updated to Latest Version 1203 @ P9X79 DELUXE, Still the same Problem!!, Also Remove 3 Rams and let only 1 4GB runs @1333 one time tested Also @ 2133 one time tested for windows Installation and still the Same problem!, Only there are 2 steps not tested until now the Changing the SDD Samsung Drive & Testing the Ram with memtest86+ , So will do that tomorrow morning, Thanks to all of u guys to show me your Help and suggestions, Will back with any updates... Edited : Problem Solved cause I was putting the USB of the Microsoft Combo in the Blue Port and not the Black Port in the Back side , just moved it and Installing Now :)
