I have read the entire thread:

http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61435&page=9

I definitely have this problem and would like to get my flash drive replaced with one that works natively in Linux.

When the USB flash drive is inserted, errors are reported as:

$ dmesg | tail
[25238.872055] usb 6-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 11
[25253.984073] usb 6-1: device descriptor read/64, error -110
[25269.200068] usb 6-1: device descriptor read/64, error -110
[25269.417099] usb 6-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 12

[25290.344039] hub 6-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1
$

Thanks.

That thread was for a drive that was a little more than 1 years ago and any new production drive would not be affected and Linux should have updated thier Kernel to solve that by now, what version of Linux are you using?
