Scimitar no longer recognized

I'm not entirely sure what happened. Earlier today, my mouse was working fine. Went to work, came back, and now the lights won't come on, and my computer won't recognize it. I've tried updated drivers and stuff, and it's up to date.

My computer lists it in my control panel as an unrecognized failed device, or something similar, but CUE doesn't even list it. I'm not sure what could be causing this.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any idea how to fix it? I've made a ticket and am waiting for them, but with my work schedule, it's hard to get time to talk to them while I'm around my computer. :3

Lots of threads on here about Scimitars being undetected on start-up, but that's intermittently. Your problem sounds even worse. You could try a soft-reset of the mouse:

1: Unplug the mouse.

2: Hold the left and right mouse click.

3: While holding the left and right mouse, plug in the mouse.

4: Hold the left and right mouse down for 10 seconds.

5: Release the left and right mouse.

Did this help you get your mouse working again?
