Hello to all forum,

I buy yesterday this cable

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-and-Parts/PC-Components/Power-Supplies/Individually-Sleeved-ATX-Cable-24pin-Type-3-%28Generation-2%29%2C-RED/p/CP-8920057

for psu HXi1200 (24 pin).p/n CP-8920057

When I connected the system did not power on with the power button, when I connect the original 24 pin cable all works fine.

The specs of this cable is that compatible (CP-8920057 ) with my p/s (hxi 1200) , but I saw that the cable

write at the end of 2 connectors (10 pin and 14 pin) ''AX1200/AXi only''

There is a problem compatibility or wrong specs to the site?

Here is the link of Amazon https://www.amazon.de/Corsair-CP-8920057-Individually-Sleeved-Generation/dp/B00BJOJ8NG

Any ideas?

Thanx

George

I want to tell me if this cable is compatible with my psu here is the link who bought it

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00BJOJ8NG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hi Koutport,

That cable is compatible with the PSU that you have. If you are having issue it the sleeved cable, it may be a bad one. If you can contact your retailer for a replacement.

Hello and thank you for youre reply!

I want to ask you why at the end of the cables write ''''AX1200/AXi only''?

I ask and another retailer ESHOP and this is the link for the blue one https://www.e-shop.gr/corsair-individually-sleeved-24pin-atx-cable-generation-2-blue-p-PER.641488

He said to me that he ask the marketing/sales department for more details.

Thanx again

George

That's because the AX1200/AXi series uses the same cable, some of our power supplies does share cables. The 'ONLY' is there because originally these cable was only compatible with that specific power supply.

To be right when we wright that this P/S is ONLY for AXi series we mean it!

If this cable is compatible for the HXi series must be wright too!

Thank you for understanding.

George.
