stratosrally
Will the palmrest slide sideways? I use the directional arrow keys for movement and would like to mount the rest to the right section of the KB, not the left... (I must confess I didn't see a better place to ask this question, no forums yet for Vengeance Peripherals - they look fantastic!)
Synthohol
it looks like its not attached, it looks like it just rests in the groove in the front. you should be able to slide it left or right.
stratosrally
I'm hoping... I can just remove it if not. I'm also really wanting the widths of both models, as my current KB slides under a 20" wide monitor stand.I like the illumination of the K90, but don't need the macros. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 20, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 20, 2011 I am sorry we do not have the Dimensions on the Tech specs page but I will ask if that can be added.
stratosrally
Thanks very much... Since my current KB works, I have until it's on the shelves to decide!
Muffin860
I know the pictures look like the wrist rest isn't attached, but can Ram Guy confirm that it will be able to move left or right on the keyboard?
JustinHEMI
When is this going to be available at our favorite vendors?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 25, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 25, 2011 The keyboard rest can be attached or detached…unfortunately it cannot be moved left or right. And I would expect them to be available in the next 30-60 days depending on location.
stratosrally
Thanks for your response - I can forgo using the rest, I'm still very interested in it. Will keep an eye out for it on the shelves so I can try out the key action first.

Trindam
You can get pretty much anything Corsair makes on Amazon.com. There is where I have ordered all the parts for my computer. So I am wondering when the new Corsair Keyboards and Mice will be sold on Amazon.com. I would love to add those items to my Corsair Computer I've put together. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 30, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 30, 2011 I am sure they will; Amazon is one of our largest on-line resellers, I could not imagine they would not stock these items. But it may take some time for them to fully deploy in the channel.

I now know that either keyboard will slide under my monitor support without interference. Only problem now is, which keyboard? I have no need for the macros (and don't like the black treatment at that end of the KB) but the full-width but slim wrist rest is perfect - and I am totally hooked on backlit keyboards. The K60 is gorgeous, I'd leave off the palmrest and use the red keys to replace my directional arrows -probably sand off the WASD lettering. Just wish it was backlit. I really am toying with buying a narrow soft-light LED strip and inserting it into a groove on the leading edge of the monitor riser. That should cast a glow on the keys. What I use for a monitor riser is a butcher block elevated by two 1.75" thick strips of wood at the ends, so Dremeling a groove should be pretty easy. I just need to find the right light strip.
