Spare HD cage for the 450D?

I found this: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/obsidian-series-550d-drive-cage-with-3-drive-trays but it says it's for the 550D. The picture makes it look like the same cage you use in all the other non-900D cases. I've tried to get Corsair to confirm that that part will work in an 450D case (I love the form factor of the 450D, I just have need more more than 3x3.5" HDs) to no avail, so here I am on your forums.

Corsair, do you not want me to buy a case from you? I've called 3 times, sat on hold for someone to answer 20 minutes each time, e-mailed 2 different 'contact us for information' addresses, and now posted on your forums, and I get no reply about a $10 part? What.the.duck?! It's a simple question: will the hyperlinked part the same cage that is used in the 450D case? yes or no.

I'm not Corsair but i think the answer is no!

 

Take a look a the 750D hdd cages, because i think they look exactly as the 450D hdd cages.

The top of the 550D cage isn't flat as the cage of the 450D and it's missing the screw hole in the top middle end.

 

Sad thing is none of the hdd cages (750D or 450D) are currently sold as spare parts.

 

It may be possible the 550D cage will fit, but after picture comparsion i think it's not the same.

For anyone wondering, I got an answer via PM from CorsairGeorge over on Overclock.net.

 

If you want more HD trays/cages, you'll need to get the cage, and the trays.

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/graphite-series-600t-drivecage $10 for the cage (NO TRAYS!)

 

So...want 3 more drives in a 450D? Best pay $25. That seems...silly, on a $120 case.
