Hello again community.

I hope this is the right part of the forum to post this in.

But does annyone know if the led extension cables that come with the "CORSAIR RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion Kit" are compatible with the led cables on the ML 120mm RGB series of fans?

Thanks for replies

Best regards/ Erik

What I personally do is just use cheap 1-pin-cables (for arduino and raspberry) from Ebay. As they come with 1-pin-connectors you can easily plug them into your Hub/Node/fan cable ...

While this "works", there are a couple of potential issues.

1) They aren't keyed so you have to be careful to make sure that you hook them up correctly. Otherwise, you can kill your devices.

2) They don't have latches so it's possible for them to come disconnected.

3) The wiring used for this is usually something like 30 AWG. It's pretty thin. For longer runs, you may have a concern with voltage drop due to increased resistance.

If you want to make your own cables, the correct part numbers are listed in the post in my signature.
